According to version tracker ( http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/10596066 ), firefox 4 beta 1 is supposed to support PPC Mac 10.4, but for me it crashes on startup. Does anyone else have this problem with a PPC mac running OS X 10.4? Has this bug been reported? Is there plans for PPC support for Mac OS x 10.4?

Does Firefox Support Ppc Mac 10.4, Because For Me It Crashes?

My brother is a Mac Purist — we used to call them MacFascists when he became one (and you were probably very young then. We’re talking the eighties) who does all his computing now on a PowerPC eMac running 10.4. I recently moved in with him and was surprised he prefers Firefox over Safari but he does. I’m generally sitting behind him typing on slackware while he does all his facebook and gmail stuff on firefox and he’s never had a problem yet.
I would reinstall firefox if I were you.
