I hear that Walmart and Sams Club asks the manufactureres for tvs to use cheaper materials when building the tv’s for them, so that Walmart and Sams Club can sell their tv’s at a cheaper price, is this true?

It’s a common practice, not just at Walmart. They’re big enough to have models made especially for them…so they can’t be price matched since there is no one else selling the exact same model.
