Ladies and gents,
hello im looking to make my first ever website (no previous experience) and if im honest ive no idea what type yet but im swaying towards making money with possibly affiliate advertising (i want to make money online with my page) what im looking for is a good reliable web host that is uk based with a uk call centre if i need help.
As i have no experience im struggling a little so what im looking for is a web host i want a website that is .co.uk for e.g (pedgers.co.uk) and i read somewhere that wordpress is excellent to use build a website so ive downloaded that already, i read that i need a mysql option to install this on my domain? or something like that,
so bearing in mind im a beginner any help or tips would be great

2 .Choose hosting with CPANEL cause have auto install wordpress (No need to figure out how to install, just few click of button)
3. After install, search for FREE wordpress template ( Any template that you like most)

you will need to purchase or rather “lease” the domain pedgers.co.uk from a domain registrar, and buy a hosting plan from a hosting company, then have your domain name servers (DNS) pointed to your hosting account.
Lots of companies provide both these services together and wil usually also setup the DNS for you, if you do get both with the same company.
When searching for a hosting plan that suits you should check the spec of the plan that it has MySQL and PHP (at least PHP4) and enough web space (file storage space) and bandwidth (traffic allowance) to suit your needs
With wordpress you could probably use a linux hosting plan best, tnough a windows one would also work. Lots of hosting plans also come with “app centers” or the like these days, basically a control panel that will walk you through software installation (like wordpress) without the need for you to upload and install it yourself. Agin this is something you should check with your webhost company when purchasing, most are very forthcoming about details to prospective customers 🙂
