Then there’s this thing called Governments and the US Government is pretty paranoid about its own reputation to the point of going against the very principles it claims to support…such as the free speech…. free market……..
actually a British concept that Americans implemented with the help of a strong defense that has ironically supported a couple of dictatorships at various times…. well so has Britain….
but anyways, all that aside, what is the British take on how Governments should respond to leaks of national Govt secrets through wikileaks?

They’re not paranoid just angry that their corruption, lieing and mass murdering ways are being revealed to us the serfs. As if we didn’t know already
No. Some things are embarrassing and shouldn’t be suppressed.
However, some things can be a risk to people’s lives and some nation’s security. It’s criminal that anybody should take it upon themselves to tell everybody. Enemies of the West must be laughing their socks off. It saves them money on secret agents.
The C.I.A are no doubt behind all this paranoia, it`s all about the “Good `ol U S of A being found out for what it really is. (One only has to look at the goings on at Guantanamo (oh, sorry, nothing`s going on there officially) Why did George W attack Iraq..to finish what his dad started ?? ) A set of lying hypocrits who will do anything in the name of OIL….Obama blames just about anyone for the debacle in the gulf of Mexico…but it`s only done on the cheap (like the space programme) so that the US can have cheap petrol..so..physician heal thyself
i think the us government is being too paranoid – why should they worry if they have nothing to hide from the general public?
