I’ve been doing affiliate marketing for a while. I picked the marketplace of my favorite, generate a hoplink, and I put it in as the destination url and bought traffic to that site and it brought 6000 visitors to it. So far, I’m making no money.
What went wrong? Is it that I’m missing something or don’t have a website or a blog? Or is it that ClickBank is a scam?

First off, ClickBank is no scam. I have received several commission checks totaling many thousands of dollars from them. Trust me, they are the real deal.
My guess is that the visitors you brought where either ‘non targeted’ or ‘suspect’! Paying for traffic is a waste of time, when you can get plenty of free targeted traffic with such ease. See http://www.secretstofreetraffic.com for more details on how to do this.
The best way I have found to approach this type of affiliate marketing is to set up a squeeze page and give away free reports. This way your can keep nagging away at them til they buy ;-).

If you want to be a successful affiliate marketer, having a list is paramount. With a list, every time a new product comes out at ClickBank in your niche, you send your subscribers a quick email and overnight you’ve made a couple of thousand dollars or so… awesome!
