Well in the last few days i have read and read and read, forums, blogs and articles all on SEO. Have i learnt something, well yes, so much that my brain feels its reached overload and now seams incapable of making any decisions about my SEO campaign
The more i read the more i realise that everyone has there own take on the best way to go about it. I have come to the conclusion i need to get quality links, more relevant link words, deeper inbound links but its left me bewildered as how to get them.
Masquerade masks are such a niche market that you cant easily find relevant sites and forums to join and link to. Most of the sites and blogs that would be suitable are my competition so hardly likely to help.
Maybe the fog will clear, everyone here is very helpful but my is the learning curve steep. Oh and is this just me or do other newbies get totally befuddled by it all
You need to take rest firstly. Otherwise, each & every backlinks would be costly to you. Its a long term game, so play it slowly & carefully.
Hi there:
You have what is termed as “Information overload” where you are in a constant state of “Learning” instead of actually “Doing”.
The internet is full of different opinions on every subject under the sun so what you really need to do is to stick with one source for all your information instead of going back and forward between different sources…..Because different sources usually means different opinions.
My friend what you really need is guidance. You need to find a good internet marketing membership site that will provide you will all the resources you need.
The site should have a good forum where you should be able to ask any question without being ridiculed and belittled (Believe me there are lots of forums that don’t take too kindly to beginners)
Try the link below. It’s how I got started and I think it would be perfect for you.
Best Regards
William
First, I agree with Jack Joseph. Take a break. And my advice 😉
When links are from a topic related site they often get no followed or deleted no matter how valuable your comments are. It’s what people do when they smell competition.
Try to target a longer tail keyword than masquerade masks and you’ll see that u usually need less links to rank well.
So make sure you properly optimize your pages first and then start building links.
The easiest way is to spy out your competition using SEO quake, a free Firefox add on. This shows the back link structure of your competition and you can try to get your links there too. It works for me!
And don’t get hung up too much on good links and bad links. A link is a link. And every link helps. Period.
Good luck,
Andi
