I thought it was being played-up, but now it seems like maybe it is worst than I thought. I dont watch the news (part of my religious view…”The Secret”) after finding out they played up a lot of things (and through personal experience of this).
I’m studying Business, Marketing and have become a bit suspicious of believing what I hear until it is set-in-stone.
I applied to study abroad in Kyushu, Japan next year (in around 7 months). Will Japan be okay…
If not, do you think there will be volunteer work I can do to help ppl and animals?

Is The Japan Earthquake Event Really That Bad…or Is It Being Played Up For Media-attention?

I think Yes. Im from japan and I was doing my homework and my mom was cooking, It was strange how the door was moving itself and the curtain, after 5 minutes it started goin on crazy so we went out of then house, and all the things we had on house fell down.
its bad as any tsunami the media always hype it up to market themselves more, its not uncommon for japan to have earthquakes, tsunamis are not as common but do occur, it was mainly farmland anyway and not hitting any major cities
Apparently it s worse than the one that hit Malaysia a few years ago… 10 meter high wave or 32 feet high which is higher than most of the islands in the Pacific Ocean. 8.9 on the R. scale
