A. its number of chromosomes
A. No. of chromosomes
The niche would be comprised of where it lives and what it does (more or less). Given that, as other people have said before, (A) is the correct choice. It’s always unfortunate to see how many people answer the “what” without explaining the “why”. Kind of leaves out the whole “learning” thing.
A. It’s number of chromosomes
The ecological niche of an organism is the full range of physical and biological CONDITIONS in which the organism lives and the way in which that organism uses these conditions. Let’s see how the others are wrong.
B. Reproduction. In order to reproduce, many organisms require specific environmental factors such as fair temperature.
C. Trophic Level. This reflects what it eats, and what eats it. It’s obviously part of its niche.
D. Humidity and Temperature. The conditions in its habitat? NICHE. 😀
