I’m confused. I’m 17, in high school. We took this little test to see which political party to affiliate ourselves with. My problem is that I have conservative beliefs and liberal beliefs, but I disagree with Conservatives such as Republicans. I also have liberal beliefs but I disagree with Democrats.
I don’t know where I fit! I couldn’t choose one because there was none that I agreed with.
Will I be able to vote, even though I’m not affiliated with a party?
the test could be deceitful. School teachers are democrats and try to brainwash you. I seen it a lot in school. Be an Independant like me. You cant vote in the primaries but you can vote in the main election
Of course you can! But none of them will make you happy :c
Just become an independent, follow the candidates closely and choose who you think is best. Just know you’ll never agree with anyone 100% but find what works for you.
When I was 20 I was a democrat, out to fix the world. Now I’m 40 and a Republican, out to attend to my family. Not an uncommon practice, I suggest you start with the liberal agenda, the conservative part will catch up.
You don’t have to be affiliated with a party to vote. Unfortunately right now there isn’t much difference between the 2. The Democrats have become the Republicans of 30 years ago as the Republicans slide further and further to the right. There are only a handful of true Democrats out there like Bernie Sanders and Alan Grayson.
Stay independent. The dogmas of liberal & conservative, and the political beliefs of Republican and Democrat, are not right all the time.
Make up your own mind on a case by case basis.
Maybe you should take time to learn what each party believes in a join accordingly, I think you’re problem is you’re just not that smart.
