Then read their affiliate agreement and it says:We will not pay referral fees on transactions that are made by a customer who visits TLA directly (rather than through a special link from your site), even if the customer previously followed a link from your site to ours.

Its their terms, If you don’t want to agree to it, you should not promote their product. Most affiliates work on cookie based system, so if the cookie exists on the computer browser, you will get the credit when purchase is made.
In this case, it seems even if the cookie exist, you might not get credit. So it’s a red flag.
