Is it better to stick with a Baptist Church affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention, rather than an Independent Fundamentalist Baptist Church?
I’ve heard that Independent Fundamentalist Baptist churches can be cults, while the churches in a convention are safer. Do you agree?

Try going somewhere they don’t subsribe to the trinity.
If you have reason to leave an SBC-affiliated church, then leave. Go to a church that meets your spiritual needs. If none do, then broaden your search.
