Three standbys, gold, guns and butter. But you are assuming that the economy will collapse so significantly over the short term than traditional investments will be worthless, and that commodity prices have not be overbid.
Houses my house was appraised at 225k in 2006 now in 2011 even after all the damn work more that’s been put into it its 102k witch is rediculus to me houses in port orange Fla are going for 160k on 4 acres and 2 thousand square feet I’d say buy a house for cheap fix it up and when the economy gets better if u can wait that long you’d double or triple your money
Gold may skyrocket in value again if the economy tanks.
Gold always does well in times of economic depression.
