I’m not sure how u could depict this in a 3 dimensional format.
Maybe if you think of a mushroom living in manure – you might show a picture of the mushroom in several stages ‘growing on the manure’ until it reaches maturity and produces spores which are distributed in its environment. It would have completed one life cycle and produced millions of spores which would be dispersed in the hope that some would land on more manure (if manure is the preferred food source). Some species grow on the barks of trees called ‘shelf fungus’ Other grow in rich damp organic soil. I hope this helps. Doing a picture of the niche requires a vivid imagination. What if you were to think of the niche of a human being living in the Arctic -in this case an Eskimo who might be a member of the Inuit tribe?
