Job Corps,the program affiliated with the department of labor,has a security and protective services training course.They also help you get a job,could this training help me in the future become a Police Officer?

Yes this could be helpful. I know a few people who have went through the security course, got their guard cards, and then became security guards. Someone worked out, others didn’t. None of them actually became police officers in the end, but the security jobs that theyr were doing (shopping mall security) was an excellent way to get experience for law enforcement. I would recommend taking the program and finding a security job that offers lots of public contact.
