An extended grouind war in the Middle East and many the reinstating the military draft would put millions of people back to work, building tanks, airplanes and bombs.
Millions of our young people would have the chance to serve their country while making the world a better place with free markets and democracy.
WW2 pulled the U.S. out of the Great Depression and if this war were conducted properly it could save the United States.

Obama escalated and prolonged the war in Afghanistan, and it has not revitalized the economy he has destroyed. Of course, with his policies a world war probably couldn’t revitalize our economy.
With regard to Iran, I think the plan is to let Israel attack Iran when they think the time is right. We will play dumb about this, denying any knowledge (and fooling nobody), and then of course we will help them with whatever intelligence, men and materiel they need. It is possible that a military strike against Iran will be over quickly, and not result in another extended conflict. But if it does, and Romney is president, the economic policies he will have put in place could result in some job creation from an attack on Iran.
