Do you agree this is how you shouldn’t make an RPG?
1. Lots of playable characters. That is why I dislike Chrono Cross. This creator of this game idea says that is for “Gameplay reasons” but for RPGS Story is more important than gameplay.
2. Non Human Characters. They’re the worst god dammit because they aren’t human.
3. The Creator of this game idea said that some of the idea is Anime inspired. It won’t be so bad but the Creator of that game IS AMERICAN. You can’t make your games anime-like if you’re American. That doesn’t make sense.
4. The Creator of the game idea just doesn’t realize his only potential in life is A FREAKING JANITOR.
5. He is serious on making the game.
6. There is no theme to the game. He said it’s a mix of Fantasy, Modern Day, and sci-fi themes. You should only pick ONE theme.
7. The Creator doesn’t realize this idea will NEVER EVER COME TRUE UNLESS ITS A FIRST PERSON SHOOTER.
8. The Creator has too much creative freedom. Games are made for Gamers, not game developers. I told him to give up ALL OF HIS CREATIVE FREEDOM to make it better.
9. Random characters. This game of his has mechs, mages, parasites that control dead corpses, talking “chain-snakes”, living Jellyfish, puppets, a puppet master, a lizard in an egg, an amnesiac schizo, pyromaniacs, court jesters with bombs, SWAT officers, brains in machines, mole-men with giant tongues, afro samurai’s, Mad scientists, Ghosts, hippies with chainsaws, and a lot of other strange characters. THIS is proof that you should give up Creative Freedom to make a good game.

11. A female protagonist. Nowadays those aren’t profitable.
12. The idea is too niche to be profitable
And the Creator got what he deserved by being trolled by half the site to death. No literally everyone was trolling him and wanting him dead.
See? Anyone else agrees that this is how you shouldn’t make a game idea?

once again you fail at properly linking content to people as it STILL leads to error messages. here’s an idea: use screenshots or something and not have to embarass yourself this badly if all your links are gonna do that, noob, the main characters from the Prototype series, who are more mutant than human, along with other non human characters from normally well released pieces of media. you’re pretty dumb with the words you spoke.
1: you play an rpg for the story. if you don’t want to use a certain character, then don’t. it’s THAT simple. who said you have to play them all?
2: So you have something against nekogirls Elfen Lied, most of the playable characters from Star Ocean the Last Hope who appear somewhat human but are from alien planets including the badass Arumat, the Legend of Zelda Franchise since they’re Hylian, all the deities from
3: Stan Lee is the Co Creator of Ultimo, a manga in Shonen Jump. this fact alone killed off your 3rd point.
4: ever thought of the possibility he’s still a kid, where, oh i don’t know, POTENTIAL IS STILL BEING UNLOCKED? with how narrow minded you are, i’d say YOU are the one who’ll end up a
5: so you SHOULDN’T be serious about making a game? wow, you should totally tell that to the CEOs of leading game companies.
6: Star Ocean the Last hope incorporated fantasy, sci-fi. one does not simply mix past present and future together, they find a way to tie it. take a look at Final Fantasy 7. it was pretty modern seeing people used guns, fantasy with the use of magic, and sci-fi because of the role space had. honestly you’re just making yourself look bad now. look at League of Legends
7: why does it have to be a first person shooter? making an RPG into a first person shooter with how you described it is going to secure a place as one of the worst games in history.
8: you do know that it’s creativity that gives us stuff like new tv shows, new plots. he’s doing the right thing. games should be made to entertain people, how is it entertaining if you have to do the same maps and hear the same story every time you decide to do story mode or whatever? you may as well play one game, which will lead to a monopoly in the game industry if EVERY SINGLE GAME was the same.
9: You DO know jellyfish are a living organism right? You also DO know lizards are born out of an egg too right? book of Genesis in the bible there was a talking snake. a snake talked to Harry Potter, some bosses you faced in The Legend of Zelda had a retractable flail arm, Resident Evil had parasites that took control of dead corpses and turned them into buffed zombies. Naruto uses puppets and a puppet master and they’re about ninjas and yet you still have people loving that. brains in machines have been used before. look into DC comics stuff and you’ll find it. what’s wrong with a guy lighting stuff on fire? TF2 uses a pyro character and they’re a VERY well known game. Mad scientists make things interesting, people read/watched Frankenstein movies, games are boring if the main characters all act the same. Mole-men with giant tongues? that’s a new race brought to the table. Square Enix/Squaresoft had to make the moogle, so why can’t he make ant-eater mole people? really the only stretch i see here is samurais with afros and chain saw wielding hippies since hippies are pretty chill.
10: you need a hard slap in the face. he’s making an RPG. RPGs are the games that take the most time to receive any enjoyment. unless the story has been overused to the point it’s ripping off another game, you’re just being dumb. should i be feeling sorry for you because of how sexist you are in the modern world? because i don’t.
11: Hunger Games had a female protagonist and they’re making tons of money. Even, i hate to include it, Twilight has a female protagonist and made tons of money despite the sexist message the story portrayed. Hermoine from Harry Potter is a female protagonist. Touhou’s cast of playable characters is ALL female and everyone loves the characters.
12: niche as in specialized? it IS an rpg, so it’s supposed to be aimed at the rpg players, not the people who think of shooters all day, scrub of the modern world.
