I’m gay and I love Chick-Fil-A! It’s so delicious and awesome!
Why do people care about the ethical and ideological alignment with regards to the heads of Chick-Fil-A and gay people? Chick-Fil-A is not a philosophical institution, it’s a restaurant for God’s sake! Hell, if Wendy’s announced openly that it supports the notion that the Holocaust never happened, I could care less! Do you know why? Because I go to a restaurant for FOOD, not their ETHICS!
And…..it pains me to see so many people waste their time and get their knickers in a twist over one small detail of a food institution’s policy. I could care less if they donate my money to anti-gay institutions, thats their CHOICE. They have the FREEDOM to do with their money as they CHOOSE to. With all of that said….why does everyone care so much. It seems like gay activists are looking to be offended these days, and it’s embarrassing being affiliated with such weak spined complainers.
So, why do people, especially LGBT activists, have to obsess so much over, and be so pedantic over, minute issues like this?

The owner of chick fil a is extremely religious (that’s why it’s closed sundays) so its probably against their religion
Ewwwwwwwwwwwww. Chick-Fil-A is so gross.
It is not just that chick fil A is against same sex maariage. Rather it is that they heavily support antigay groups like NOM and focus on the family. What would the jewish community do if they found out that the proceeds of a restaurant go to support holocaust deniers? What would blck groups do if they found out a business gave boat loads of money to the KKK? The anti-gay groups chick fil a supports are really hate groups. So that is the reason for the ire.
Easy its a mainstream business that blatantly states its against a certain group of people. and that makes people upset. I agree and I am gay as well and love their food. But i know where i stand and where the owner of the company stands on this topic so im not mad about that personally.
Worst of all the company owner only outed a single group (the LGBT community) which gives other things and people (Chick-Fil-A) the same “bad” look.
Its kinda like if the owner said he thought all Americans were fat dumb greasy pigs (he would be kinda right) then more be would be insulted and would not like to support the business
You are an idiot then; you are giving them your money; which they then donate to companies that are there to take away your rights; every piece of money you give them; the more they have to donate to these companies; keep it up and we will all be living in those countries where you get killed for being gay; think about the consequences if all gay people thought like you; these anti gay organizations want this to happen; they want us to be put in jail for being with the same sex; and the more money they get the closer they become to making this happen.
