Whether conservative, liberal, or otherwise, I certainly don’t pretent that YOU’RE not affiliated with him/her…
People get violent as result of profound confusion and frustration, often wrought of loneliness and rejection. In effect, unless the science of societal etiquette is as matter of blanket program taught within and throughout a society, then publics simply hold no idea of what human behaviors are intended to be. Extended social acceptance is an indispensable element in proper societal etiquette.
In concert, wage inequity and a deeper-than-logical societal class system forges divides and chasms that propagate loneliness, social rejection, and group division — which inarguably construct aforementioned confusion and frustration.
I am not some loony with a vengeance for US richclass. I am one who somewhat understands the human spirit — its hungers and satiations.
Technology of its base element is an enemy of the human spirit, as usurping human contact in many ways. Nevertheless, still the rational, secure, and stable society can coexist peacefully with highest technology (Japan).
Inject beyond highest technology, however, a deeper-than-logical societal class system, with the resulting individual loneliness and rejection leading to confusion and frustration, and technological tools will most certainly be taken up and employed by various frustrated citizens to lash out (if blindly) in retribution for their deadly discontent.
US conservatives for whatever reasons contend that most aggressive, coldest, individual and group economic competition within a society and among a public is the healthiest societal course. It is not. It is the deadliest course.
US conservatives blanket rationale for individual societal uprisings as “poor parenting.” Reiterating from above that “unless the science of societal etiquette is as matter of blanket program taught”… Hey — you think parenting is some simple social science that falls out of the sky and onto the heads of parents in some all-inclusive fashion? What is a society? Do you have one? Do you WANT one?
I’m saying you CANNOT AVOID having a society.
And since you WILL have a society…
You’d BETTER start investing in what it takes to educate it. AND properly.
Otherwise (as US society is starting to see with much amplified clarity these days), you will pay the price. And some prices cannot be afforded.
Prognosis:
(1) Inject wage equity and shared employment into your economic practices to far, far greater extent. Forge a far shallower class system.
Societal etiquette is most effectively disseminated through strong and leaching educational programs in arts and culture, therewith most effective in group and teamwork approaches. (2) Get chorus, band, orchestra, theatre, arts, crafts, home economics, culture, languages, and the like, back into your schools — and FAST. And build more schools while you’re at it.
The Republican Congress has got to go. They haven’t done a thing to help create jobs and are presently filibustering the Jobs Act. They’re more interested in the next election than what the people need. And they just took a 5 week vacation. Guess what they were working on before they left. Jobs creation ? No, more abortion regulations for women.
