I’m having problems with e-mail sent from a specific domain being treated as spam by AOL, as well as other types of errors that suggest AOL doesn’t like *something* about these e-mails. However the error information isn’t specific enough to solve the problem. I’ve requested getting on their whitelist and only know that they’ve received the request (months ago) and have referred it to the appropriate department. At this point I feel it’s necessary to get on the phone with someone. Is there a phone number that gets me to someone or some department that performs this role? I have a customer service number which I’m guessing will be a dead end. I’ve found 800 numbers on the web which I’m guessing are just third parties who aren’t affiliated with AOL. Of course, if you ask why anyone would have an AOL account anymore, you’ll have to post it as a separate question here!

I just posted a question explaining my strict parents.
Background info:
I am 13 years old this year (in march)
I am in 9th grade, because I skipped a grade.
I study really hard and try my very best to please my parents, even though they don’t appreciate it. (I don’t remember dad even saying i love you…).
My mom is the one who enforces all the rules that are affiliated with “teens” and it kinda pisses me off.
I’m not allowed to wear lip gloss. (sad, i know.)
I recieved crappy concealer only for my 8th grade picture (and im not allowed to wear it any other time)
My mom said i could wear makeup at 16 or 17.
But I know even then, she’ll start yelling at me.
I didn’t even bring makeup up to her and she randomly told me the rules…
I was thinking of asking her this upcoming marchwhen im 14, but I am absolutely TERRIFIED.
Should I ask in 2 years? (I get scared of my parents a lot.)
ALSO: can you help me ask her if i could tweeze little stray eyebrow hairs?
(I was super daring) and asked her last year but she gave me the scariest lecture I’ve ever had.
And she was mad about me shaving my legs…
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help!!
Sorry if this was too long.

During the 2008 campaign a Fox affiliate somewhere in the midwest sent a reporter and a cameraman to a small cafe- there were about 20 customers present, and the Fox reporter went around and asked every single customer for whom they were going to vote. Without a single exception, the answer was “Obama”. After which the reporter looked into the camera, and said, “Well Ted, as you can see, it’s about evenly divided.” How he managed to say this with a straight face is beyond me. This is the “fair & balanced” reporting Fox tries to claim. Really….. what DOES it take for people to realize how bad Fox is?

I’m reading the beak of the finch and I just got done reading it. There’s a quote that says…
“Chimpanzees in the last day of the African rain forests are teaching their children how to crack nuts with stones. They are taking the kinds of halting, modest steps that might, if favored, if selected for many generations, carry them on a path toward something like our niche. Watching them, human observers notice striking variations in intelligence from individual to individual. Where there is genetic variation, there is room for selection and evolution. Probably in every line of primates there are a few, like Imo on her island, who could lead their kind in our direction. But at the moment of course that path is blocked. The thinking niche is taken, at least for the moment.”
I don’t understand what the few lines mean. If anyone knows, please tell me what it means esp the the thinking niche is taken…

D.I.T.C was no doubt a great group, however, they certainly weren’t good enough to be ranked amongst other groups such as Wu-Tang Clan. Their group album was a solid release, but no where near the calibre as 36 Chambers, do you think if they had released a group album as good as 36 Chambers they could have been regarded better than the Wu-Tang? The Wu are so popular due to the solo success of its members but the members of D.I.T.C. could certainly rival the solo efforts made by the Wu-Tang, Lifestylez, Word…Life, Stunts Blunts And Hip Hop, Runaway Slave and Funky Technician are some of the greatest hip hop albums ever made.
BQ:
Ghostface Killah vs Big L
Fat Joe vs U-God
O.C. vs Raekwon
A.G. vs Inspectah Deck
Lord Finesse vs RZA (As rappers, not producers)
Diamond D vs Masta Killa
Affiliates: Big Pun vs Redman
