I love to travel and a lady recently told me she got free flight tickets just by racking up flyer points.
How does this work and what is the best way to do this? and best company to get affiliated with?

unless you are spending 50K a year do not expect many free trips. all tickets are at full retail price no sales no discounts it is a b/s marketing scam
debit cards do not give rewards.
Read the fine print, and then you pick the credit card that best represents your life. {Favorite airline, any blackout dates that would affect you adversely? … and NO annual fee,}
Most of the reward comes when you sign up. And then you need to charge almost all of your expenses every month {AND PAY THE BILL IN FULL WHEN THE STATEMENT COMES!} to rack up enough points, and not lose your gains as interest expense.
Will you really fly that much? Some people find a cash rewards card is better – then buy the ticket you want when you want – at a sale price.
