What Would Have Been A Better Dark Knight Rises!!!?

So as much as I love all Christopher Nolan’s Batman Universe I feel that the 3rd one really fell short.
I was Over hyped and Stoked for the premier of TDKR.
-I really loved to beginning when Bane Takes down the Plane and how it was all planned out.
-After that You Move on to Commissioner Gordon and his Speech, I think it was at Wayne Manor.
-Then it was the whole “intro” scene with Selina Kyle getting Bruce Wayne’s Fingerprints from his small safe
-Then from there I really enjoyed how that sparked Bruce to do investigative work on Selina Kyle and beginning to put things together.
– But when Bane breaks into The Stock Market and collects all the riches information including Wayne’s they Escape with Motorbikes but I just Simply LOVED how Chris Nolan did a good Job in introducing Batman again in the streets by killing the lights in the Tunnel and revealing himself once more. And how he eluded the cops with out sweat.
– So to those whom seen the film we all know what goes down and Batman gets double crossed by Catwoman for own life, and gets his *** handle by Bane.
-After Bane Takes over the City and Batman is trying to get his strength up for a second battle with Him.
– Well to sum it all up Batman comes back to Gotham City acts like a little girl by asking everyone for help and to get his last of his remaining belongings then faces Bane with quick fight that was not so epic, BANE cries which was so pathetic and the gets handled by a rocket from the Batpod. It was so Stupid that Bruce Wayne was way too Vulnerable in this Film I understand he’s Human but Batman is classified as a superhero only because he can do things that are beyond human. He let himself go with Talia Al Gul by trusting her. That was Bat-Mistake #1 we all know from the comics Bruce does not Trust so Easy and is overly Paranoid.
Well those were Mostly My Issues with the Film.
What I think could have been better is…
Remember when The Joker stole from the Bank and hours later Batman went to the crime scene with Lieutenant Gordan to investigate. Batman should Have investigated the Plane Crash from Bane in the beginning… He’s Batman and quitting for 8 years does not stop him from doing investigation work.
Batman is ALWAYS on top of things you think after 8 years he actually gains experience not lose them. Christopher Nolan should have Showcase a Batman that was very wise and intelligent. a Batman that instantly gives you the chills when you see him on screen how powerful his charisma as a Worlds Greatest Detective is.
Batman Should have know that he was being doubled Crossed by both Catwoman and Talia (especially Talia)
Batman Always has a plan A,B,C, ETC. when Bane took his Tumbler’s He should have had prototype Back Up in his Mansion as a secret.
Batman Needs no HELP!!! when he came back to Gotham from that HOLE he went asking for help from Fox..
I am fine Batman Making Mistakes… But only a few! and the only mistake that was tolerable was facing Bane to early thinking he could kick his butt!
After Being Handled from Bane, Batman should have been more prepared… he could have had his Batwing have a Homing Device to save him while he was down.. or call upon his bats like he did in the first movie.
Not Sure But what do you guys think!!!
I know this was a long Paragraph but it’s how I felt about the film… Over all it’s a Good Movie and I Love Seeing Christian Bale in the Batsuit.
I want Your opinions whomever saw the Film Thank 🙂

Batman asks for help allllll the time in the comics. ever hear of any of the 5 robins? Superman? the Justice League? the Outsiders? Nighwing? 3 Batgirls? Huntress? Catwoman? ALFRED?
    Was the movie perfect? no.
But the only thing it really got wrong with Batman was that he would never have taken 8 years off.

  2. Nicholas says:

It followed too many characters, there was an hour long period where it pretty much wasn’t a batman movie at all.
The music was excessive. Too much banging.
The action was terrible…just so freakin terrible.
The whole Tahlia twist at the end was silly. The whole, “oh wait, I’m the bad guy”, is too common of a twist, they could have done better.
    The story structure was cluttered.
It wasn’t as good in any way as the dark knight
Except for catwoman, she was the ****.

  3. Cooper says:

    Was to long
    Catwomen should have been villian
Joseph gorden levitts name should have been
    Dlck grayson
Gotten rid of marion cotillard (she is a terrible actress) and replaced her with some one good

  4. John Crisp says:

When i first heard it would be bane, i was like Please at least do it more based on “Knightfall’ then that crap they tried with Batman & robin
Bane was a joke in that.
Oh and i think you made a comment about Bane beating him… Its because in the comics he nearly breaks Batman’s back. In Knightfall Bruce has to retired temporarily to recover.
    Movie was perfectr.

  5. Rebel With a Cause says:

*Bruce was still retired from crimefighting at the time. Even if he did detective work over the years, why should he have worried about a plane crash involving the CIA and a random mercenary? Bane left evidence in the plane to imply he died in the crash.
*Batman does get help and support in the comics. His close allies have been collectively called the Bat-Family: Nightwing, Robin(s), Oracle, Batgirl(s), Alfred, The Outsiders, Huntress, Catwoman, Batman Incorporated and Birds of Prey.http://media.dcentertainment.com/sites/d…
*As a stand alone film, TDKR is good but not as great as The Dark Knight. As a final film of a trilogy, the film holds well within context of the other two films, especially with Batman Begins.

I call this What The Dark Knight Rises Should Have Been Nolan!
    – Bruce escapes the hole only to find out he can’t enter the city. Alfred is there and wants to help him. Bruce denies his help but Alfred insists in a speech of redemption; he blames himself for what the city is going through and that he has failed to follow what he promised Bruce’s parents. Bruce then accepts his help and then Alfred reveals his took some Batman gear with him before leaving, just in case.
    – Commisoner Gordon and Blake are tried. As they walk on the ice, Bruce and Afred swing unde the bridge with rope and Bruce throws tranquilizing boomerangs at the henchmen. Here, Gorodn fidns out that bruce is Batamn.
    – Bruce conmtacts Catwoman to contact Fox (Fox provides his gear so of course eh ahs to get help from him)
    – Batamn frees the police underground. He tells Gordon and the cips to prepare for war. Bane sends henchmen to find out who freed the cops but they don’t know.
    – The cops amrch towards Bane’s henchmen. Bane is confident, orders missle to be shot, Batman blocks it with The Bat. Bane is shocked and the battle between the cops and bad guys ensue.
    – Better dialogue Bane: “So you’ve come to die with your city?” Batman: “No, I’ve came to save my people.” After all, batman hates the city but vowed to protect the people no matter what.
    – Same battle between bane and batman. Talia revales herselfand fixes Bane’s amsk. Catwoman arrives and fights Talia. Batman and Bane fight again but this time Batamn is losing due to Talai’s stab and that Bane is protecting his mask even more. Catwoman kills Talia while Batman gets abeating, losing his mask and armor again. Catwoman kills bane with the missle and make same gun joke.
    – Gorodn find sthe bomb. Batman tells him and Catwoman to stay put as he goes to Fox.
    – Batman arrives underground only to find Fox ahs been murdered and that Ra’sadul is alive and well. Ra’sadul reveals that eh ahs been living underground since the events of BB, waiting till Talia ahd the right plan to destroy Gotham. He pushes the flooding button and the base begins to flood. Batman falls to his knees, humiliated, defeated, and infuriated.
    – Ra’adul: “Now you understand this city is menat to be destroyed.” Batamn: “I’m going to kill you!” (keep in mind, the film is abse don The Dark Kngiht Retruns in which Batman has mild killing urges) they fight for a few seconds as the palce floods. Ras’adul: “Enough! It is useless. There’s nothing you can do. You don’t owe these people anymore. You’ve given them everything.” Batman (in a brief pause of refelction): “Not everything… not yet.” And he goes to The bat and flies the bomb to sea. Boom!
    – The end is good the only changes is that Blake is the new Batman, no Robin and Batman’s death/survival remains a mystery.
    – That’s my opinion 

  7. Toby says:

Linus… you had the right idea at first, but what the hell happened after that?? :L
I liked the bit with Alfred at the start – that would have actually made a lot of sense for Alfred to supply him with an entrance from outside of the city, as opposed to him just somehow getting in – but after that it was just plain stupid… Batman and Bane fighting while Catwoman and Talia fought simultaneously would just be incredibly tacky and clichéd; it has a kind of ‘Batman & Robin’ vibe to it (Batman vs. Mr. Freeze and Batgirl vs. Poison Ivy) that I think it’s safe to say most people really wouldn’t want to see. The idea of Batman and Bane fighting AGAIN on its own is a tacky one, and would eliminate the whole point of Batman overcoming Bane in the second fight.
Your whole thing about Ra’s al Ghul (who the heck is Ra’sadul?!) made no sense whatsoever… I think everyone was open to the idea of Ra’s returning properly in the final film – although I think the way it turned out was much better – but this just seems plain ridiculous…
Lastly, you clearly misunderstood the situation with Robin at the end. Robin DOES become the new Batman. It ties in with Bruce’s very first conversation with Ra’s in ‘Batman Begins’ regarding how someone who truly devotes themself to an ideal can become more than just a man, eventually becoming an indestructible legend; in other words, Batman cannot die, because it doesn’t matter who is wearing the cowl. The point of revealing that Blake’s real name was Robin was just to make the audience recognise that he would succeed Bruce as Gotham’s protector.
