I’m getting an air intake for my 2003 pontiac grand prix but I have the 3100 model. K&N only makes one for the 3800 and I’ve only seen weapon-r make intakes for the 3100, the secret weapon and the dragon air. They didn’t exactly get the best reviews so I have 4 options. Get the secret weapon, get the dragon air, build one on my own with pvc piping for piping form auto zone and throw a K&N filter on top, OR, I could get either the secret weapon or dragon air and replace that filter with a K&N. Which do you think is my best option? which will be the most reliable. im trying to keep it pretty under the hood if I can but if it comes down to $80 for an ugly pvc one or $200 for the same performance but better looking ill go with the cheap option. also has anyone tried after market and DIY and notice a difference? thanks
To be 100% honest… Just keep what you got… Its not ganna do anything for you. Your not ganna get anything significant out of it. Its all just eyecandy. But if your 100% set on it get k&n
whatabove said, leave the intake system ALONE!!!!!!! Its the best Cold Air intake system money can buy & you already paid for it!!!!! That other crap is a waste of money, doesnt do anything different or better than what you got installed
