Came across a question that sparked mine. The question was “Why do all liberals support terrorism? And why do they support the enemy?” Several people answered that the reason was because liberals are the enemy. I do not affiliate with any political party but this irritated me. My ex is a two time Iraqi war veteran (this was back in 04 and 05 when things were at their worst; also he manned a tank and thus was on the front line) and is still enlisted and wanting to do more. So I direct my question to the militant conservatives that lump all non militant conservatives into the group of terrorist enablers. The most irritating part is I have a feeling most of the people commenting will never see war up close. Yahoo desperately wanted me to ask a question so….ta da! Any takers?

Those Conservatives should be ignored. We need to look at the options in the left-wing for America. We have Progressives, Communist, Socialists, Radicals, Moderates, Liberals, Democratic Socialists, etc.
They are sick of getting defeated by Obama. Think of it from their view.. Obama has beat them over and over again. If it was a boxing match the ref would of stopped it. If you were a conservative and took a beating like they have from Obama you would think all libs are the enemy too.
I thought it was Liberals who used fear and intimidation to silence people with words like racism.
If I can figure out what type of question your jumble is attempting to ask, I may answer it.

Because the war mongering politicians say we need to fight wars for our protection and that liberals are the enemy so they believe them. Liberals and conservatives have no logic behind their views besides following what the politicians who vote on special interests say.
Which party wants to restrict and limit our freedoms? That makes them terrorists. The leader of our country helping to overthrow Egypt’s old government, that was at least kind of an ally to the US is disgusting. If the leader of the liberals does these thing, and he still gets voted in, America should be asking itself some serious questions about their values, and the direction our country is headed.
Right wingers tend to be reactionary which means they react on an emotional level and not a rational level.
The simple answer is that they are stupid. When you combine that with the usual xenophobia and paranoia you get the typical right wing reaction.

while i suspect that asker is probably a troll looking to stir up a hurricane of feces, the sad fact is i do know many conservatives in real life who believe those accusations without question.
they learned it in their churches from their pastors and were raised in an environment where questioning one’s religious leader results in an immediate and irrevocable one-way ticket to the lake of fire on judgment day.

I think it’s the same reason extreme liberals think all conservatives are racist, religious fanatics or war mongers. I’m not an extreme conservative, but I am more conservative than liberal, and I have to agree with you — the people complaining the most about any controversial topic are usually the ones who know the least about it. My son is a Marine, and he gets called baby killer and stuff like that. No one realizes what is really happening overseas because the media has put such a negative spin on the military, but I am sure your ex and my son, and just about every other military person would much rather save a child than kill them regardless of the nationality.
