It is now established that Obama has a Connecticut Social Security number.
Snopes.com explains that the clerk misread Obama’s SSN application and changed the first digit of the ZIP code from a 9 to a 0, making it a CT ZIP code.
But wouldnt’ the clerk notice that Obama filled in the state as HI and not CT? Isn’t this what redundant information is for? To check for errors like this?
Why would the clerk read HI as the state, but then read a CT ZIP code without realizing it was an error?

The real reason is, Obama’s family was unable to produce a valid birth certificate, so they had to purchase a SSN for him on the black market.
That’s how they also purchased his phony birth certificate. The black market birth certificate may have been purchased first, then rejected by the SSA as being bogus. Then the family went back and bought the SSN the same place they got the birth certificate.
Every single thing about Barack Obama is a blatant fraud. We actually have no idea who is this impostor who occupies the Oval Office.
The most disturbing thing is, this is all consistent with the president actually being an operative for some dark secret government organization. The scarier thing is, this might be OUR government putting an impostor into the Oval Office.
But that would be a good explanation why a person with ZERO actual accomplishments in life was propelled into the White House at such an amazing speed.
That actually raises more questions than it answers, when did Obama apply for a SS card, where did he apply for it, why would you apply for a SS card in a state you never lived in, is the SS administration really that inept, how many other people have numbers from states they never lived in, or why a SS clerk in Hawaii would change it to CT and issue a CT number? If snopes had an ounce of credibility they would have asked these questions.
But…….. it can all be blown off by the left by saying “birther”. Never in my life have I seen so many people so unwilling to try and find the truth as there has been with Obama and years of his missing past, questionable documents in his past (SSN) why a man with a passport (you need a long form birth certificate to get a US passport) needed to get a new BC when he started to run for president.
I do love how so many that answered miss the point all together that Obama never lived in CT and in no way shape or form should have a CT SSN.
Connecticut is not the only state with a zero zip code; the entire far northeast of America has zero first. So your writing needs to be updated to something that makes sense.
You don’t get a SSN in the state you are born-especially back then. You get it where you apply and live at the time you get it.
Your social security number is sissued in the state you apply for it , which could be different than the state you were born in.

And how would obama have ever RECEIVED the SSN if the clerk recorded his address as Connecticut. The card would have languished in the dead letter box somewhere in Connecticut.
