I don’t get the connection between illegal immigration and American citizens losing rights after a felony conviction. However, as to the “illegal Mexicans with criminal backgrounds” – I don’t believe that either the President or the Republicans have yet released a detailed immigration reform plan, but such plans in the past have generally regarded a criminal record as disqualifying a person from being eligible for a green card or any amnesty.

Illegals in gangs or that commit crimes are the only ones we are deporting.
