Fast food and junk food is a product of Capitalism and is the source of obesity and heart disease epidemic. We are still dependent on oil as corporations continue to keep out better alternatives (see Who Killed the Electric Car for one example). The rich keep getting richer, the middle class will all be on government aid in the next 20 years at the rate we are going. Media caters to viewers lust and greed.
We need a new economic system that is less dependent on the so called free-market.

Republicans Blame Liberals For The Moral Decline Of The Country But Isnt It Really Capitalism That Is At Fault?

You have a good point, but be careful with the buzz-words. People will see words like “Republican” and “Liberal” and answer you in knee-jerk fashion rather than carefully considering the content of your question. You can see in the answers here that this is exactly what happens.

The idea of right versus left, Republican versus Democrat just puts many people directly into “team” thinking, completely bypassing logical thought processes. This is by design – it’s how we get controlled. Powerful forces in this world don’t want us to actually think about anything.

How to solve problems like these? We need a third party in this country, one that’s not rooted in either side of this debate. There’s a surprising amount of agreement among people when party and ideological affiliation is taken out of the equation. For example, when a survey was recently presented to a large group of people – showing budget plans proposed by various congressional factions – but without any names attached – those people surveyed overwhelmingly voted for the plan proposed by the Progressive (liberal) faction of congress. Those votes all disappeared when people could see the “progressive” label attached.

Here’s a personal secret (that will probably get me downvoted.) I often present progressive ideas while pretending to be a Ron Paul conservative. On some issues there’s a lot of crossover between (true) libertarian values and progressive values.
Liberals may not be playing with a full deck , they know so much that isn’t so.
They seem to have abandoned logic and reason.
They are Advocates of a policy that empowers a strong federal government to enslave its people with the high tax burden incident to the support of extravagant and unnecessary social programs destructive to both the work ethic among the lower class, and the incentive to innovate and succeed among the working people .

In other words, if people are taught that they SHOULD be selfish, which is the moral tenet of capitalism, we shouldn’t be surprised when everyone turns into selfish assholes.
Since they’re the ones in control of every facet of our lives, I say that puts them at the top of the heap..I never in all my life let someone else take the blame for something i did. Not many people are like that. I suspect many reside on the right politically. As does anyone in the world.
