I shadowed a doctor about a month ago and he was awesome! He’s not physically the hottest guy ever (probably a 6/10) but his personality rocks and makes him a 20/10! However, he could be sitting on the admissions board of the school he is affiliated with for the year I choose to apply for medical school (he works at a hospital affiliated with the med school) so he may just be reviewing my application! Would it be wrong if I just wanted to take him out for lunch or coffee? Another thing is that I’m 21 (22 in a couple of months) and he’s…37, boom! (He’s not married!). Do you think I should try and pursue anything?
Thanks
Don’t pass up a chance at a great guy based on “what if’s.” My only concern with your post is you’re not even dating him yet and you’re already apologizing for his appearance. If he’s a great guy, he’s a great guy. No need to tell us how wonderful he is despite his average looks.
The age difference is truly no big deal. Regarding the application process, say when that happens you guys are seriously dating — the best thing to do would be to be honest with the board so he could recuse himself from revewing your application.
Good luck!
