You can turn around and say that you are not affiliated with these people, but the truth remains these attacks are by people who believe they are doing right by the same religion you follow. Therefore your religion is a problem and should be eradicated from the earth along with anybody who follows it.

Yes all evil in religions must be eradicated and there is no religion that is free of evil. For instance almost every religion is misogynistic. Islam in particular. So yes go ahead and eradicate any religion that is evil. Or the parts of it that are evil. The koran must be scrubbed of the violent and hate filled passages that are in it. Otherwise people will keep doing these attacks and/or harbor hatred for others as these passages demand. This question seems to contradict your name. You do not know that the bombs were planted by Muslims. That the devices were crude has no bearing on the matter. Americans’ understanding of explosives varies widely, so it is quite possible that the bombs were made by an American who did not have sophisticated knowledge of explosives.

So you are suggesting that more violence is the answer? Should this extend to any idea in the name of which people have killed? I do not think there would be many of us left in that case.

But you do not exterminate any animal regardless of whether it is the problem. There are violent and peaceful Muslims, Christians,. Atheists, etc. What we need to do is sort out the violent ones, not kill everybody in the group to which they belong.

As for the idea that it is Islam itself which drives acts of violence, there are many, many Muslims who deplore the actions of a miniscule minority. That alone pretty much means Islam does not directly cause violence, any more than Christianity caused all the IRA bombings in the UK, or a number of “Lone Wolf” bombings in the USA.
If Islam is to blame, then so to are all the Abrahamatic religions. Actually, banning them all may not be such a terrible idea.
