NRA affiliated right-wing terrorists attempted to retaliate at Missouri Senator Roger Wicker by sending a ricin tainted envelope to his office. “Wicker was one of 16 GOP senators who voted to end a filibuster against a gun control bill on Thursday. He was also one of the 12 Senate Republicans who dined with President Barack Obama at the White House last week.”
What’s your response to Tea Party members attempting to assassinate elected officials who show even the slightest sign of cooperation with the President? http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/201…
Liberals feel justified in committing acts of terror whenever they want. Just ask Bill Ayers.
NRA are terrorists so not unexpected
how do you know it’s an NRA member? Anyway, that wouldn’t mean all NRA members are terrorists. Why do you want to stoop to such a low level?
he is Mississippian and it was a lib just like the 0bama supporter that shot up Ft Hood!!!
There is no evidence that the NRA had anything to do with it.
Which was it, “NRA” or “Tea Party”?
Get your lies straight, you partisan puke.
My response is generally the same to all yoru trolls. you need to get out of moms basement and get a job.
No there the NRA is not involved in this. he knows it hes just trolling.
Ricin ain’t something you can pick up a Wallgreens.
…you are only telling half the story:
Wicker said:
“I have an A+ rating from the NRA and have consistently worked to protect Second Amendment rights,” said Wicker. “My vote is in accord with the NRA’s position. I have never voted for gun control and will not do so. This begins a debate to put the Senate on record about a basic constitutional freedom. Bringing this bill to the floor gives us the opportunity to vote on measures to strengthen gun rights, such as an amendment to protect veterans from unfair restrictions when trying to purchase a firearm. I will filibuster passage of a final bill if it contains gun restrictions or a weapons ban.”
Now does that sound like someone the NRA or it’s members would want to kill?
So you just type what ever suits your personal opinion. Since the article clearly states that Sen. Wicker is endorsed by the NRA and is against Obama’s gun grabbing policies. Perhaps next time you should read the article first.
Wow, that quick you found that out? Then how come it took like 20 years to find the Unabomber and the mail anthrax case from 11 years ago is still unsolved? Shove it. Any number of people could have something for him.
“You know me and fellow gun owners are responsible for all the carnage in our streets and our schools. Never mind that Ted Kennedy’s car has killed more people than my entire collection of firearms. Most of which I have owned since childhood when I saved my pennies and nickels in order to purchase them and each and everyone is in perfect working order. It is the responsible gun owners of today that is being blamed for all the shootings. Obama calls us the right wing gun nuts, clinging to our guns and to our religion.
But lets take a little closer look. The Fort Hood shooter, a Muslim, and a registered Democrat. The Virginia Tech shooter, he wrote hate mail to George Bush and his staff and was a registered Democrat. Aurora Colorado shooter, he was a staff worker on the Obama campaign and took part in Occupy Wall Street. He was a progressive liberal and guess what? A registered Democrat. The Newtown, Conn shooter hated Christians and was a registered Democrat. The Columbine high school shooters were too young to vote, but both of their families were progressive liberals and registered Democrats.
And one more thing, not a single one of these killers were members of the National Rifle Association. So I have got it figured out how to make this country much safer; leave the guns alone and lock up all the Democrats.”
As a Liberal my response is that we do not know who did it, at least not that I have heard.
I read the article you posted, and I even Googled other articles. The ricin tainted envelope had a Tennessee postmark but no return address; the only thing I can find that even remotely points to the contents of the letter is a line that says, “you haven’t listen to me before so now people may have to die” or something like that.
I’m just wondering where you got the “NRA Affiliated right-wing terrorists” part, and the whole story about retaliation.
Wicker serves on multiple committees … (from your article) “He sits on multiple Senate committees, including Armed Services; Budget; Commerce, Science, and Transportation; and Environment and Public Works; and the Joint Economic Committee.’
So how do you know it’s not some left-wing welfare nut who hates Wicker because he’s a republican?
Are you making this up because you hate guns and the Tea Party, or do you really have some sort of backing for your take on the story?
I expected no less from their type.
