How Can Homeschooled Kids Get Scholarships?

Someday I’d like to be a counselor. I’m not sure what type yet. Maybe a school counselor or just do counseling. Either way. But how can homeschooled kids get scholarships? I’m only 15 so it’s not like I have to do it now but I know to be a counselor you have to have a masters… But I have NO idea how on earth I’d ever be able to afford it… So yea. Thanks 5 stars to best answer…

many times home-school programs are affiliated with bricks-n-mortar schools.. in those cases, you get a transcript from the school just as you would if you were sitting in the classes
in worst cases, the homeschool is not affiliated with anything… and the student can’t even really get a state issued high school diploma and must sit for GED
we don’t know anything about your homeschool set-up… so we can only guess
    ideally…..
    1) your homeschool will be affiliated with a state approved program & a bricks-n-mortar school so you can get HS diploma as well as transcript with your GPA
to get scholarships, your unweighted GPA needs to be 3.75 or higher
    2) you take ACT & SAT
to get scholarships, your ACT needs to be at least 32 & your SAT at least 2200
    3) you are heavily involved in an activity that the college/uni you apply to finds valuable & you excel in it… for example state-champion-level competing in: sport, debate team, robotics team, etc….
