It’s not entirely in the music industry, nor is it about the world ending. It’s about the New World Order. The New World Order is a one world government or global hegemony, if you will. Although many youtube videos will suggest it’s a bunch of famous people that sold their soul to the devil for fame and fortune; this is actually a completely misguided interpretation.
The Illuminati does not really consist of celebrities as much as it does bankers and power brokers. Hear me out because it makes sense once you understand how the system works. Not many people understand how the monetary system works, it’s rarely addressed in school and all the banking terminology is beguiling to the average person. Most people assume the banks are owned by the government, but this is very misleading. The banking institutions are owned by private shareholders through the stock market. These financial oligarchs run the banks and profit from charging interest on loans and decide the annual amount of inflation a country is subjected to. What this means is that they decide the value of money and how much debt is attached to it. So these oligarchs become millionaires simply by collecting off the debt of the government.
Having made so much money off the debt of others and from manipulating the stock market, they bought ownership of most multimedia companies. No matter how you look at it, newspaper outlets, television and radio stations are owned by a particular company. Bigger companies start buying control of smaller companies and they become more powerful, posing more influence on the public. If you’ve looked over the list you can tell these companies are creating a monopoly by consolidating so many other companies under one centralized ownership. You see that the music industry is composed of multiple companies that are owned by the media. By controlling the media these financial oligarchs insert their own editors into positions of power within these companies, deciding what stories are published and which ones aren’t. They could block out the real reason why Pope Benedict XVI resigned and insert more stories on why the public should surrender their 2nd Amendment Rights (The Right to bear arms).
This Illuminati secret society goes back several hundred years, believe it or not. People are becoming aware that it’s still around. But because it’s so difficult to understand, people automatically subscribe to youtube. The Illuminati, by controlling a chain of companies own the music industry and start flashing all these symbols around celebrities. Music artists don’t really have much of a say in what goes on in their music video’s, they’re bound by contracts while someone from within the record company directs and choreographs the music video. It’s that easy, people see the signs surrounding the celebrities, and take no notice of the companies behind it. People pay more attention to celebrities and sports then to banking and politics.
If you look into where all these political figures get their funding for their election campaign, you might realize it’s the same wealthy industrialists that own the banks. No politician will bite the hand that feeds them, so the wealthy bankers have a degree of control in what that politician does while in office. That’s why the government continues to put forth new taxes on the average citizen, while super-rich families are allowed tax breaks and military exemption.
It’s real, but it’s not “officially recognized”, you need to understand the difference. Just because there’s no official documentation that such a secret society exists doesn’t mean it’s not real. This is the literal meaning of SECRET society.

The illuminati were various things including a Spanish heretical group in the 16th century and a German deist/republican secret society founded in 1776. It spread to other groups including the French Encyclopaedists in 1797. A few years later it was defunct. By 1816 it meant “persons affecting to possess special enlightenment on any subject” and was often used satirically. That is the meaning it has had for the best part of 200 years but recently conspiracy theorists have dug the word up out of obscurity, saddled it with lots of twaddle and promoted it as some sort of satanist, new world order cult without a skerrick of evidence to support any claims.
The Illuminati were a group formed during the great European Enlightenment period.
They formed in 1776 in Bavaria, mostly as a group to discuss politics. However, the Prince-Elector though groups that had secret rites (which the Illuminati had) were plotting against him. Some actually were, although not the Illuminati. So, he banned all such groups in 1783, and then outlawed them in 1785. That was it for the Illuminati.
However, they have a cool name, are long gone, and had secrets. This makes them ripe fodder for authors to use in all sorts of stories, and, which each story, the facts become less important, and the fiction ever more fanciful.
This is pretty common – consider the 6th century Romano-Celtic battle leader (warlord) who fought against the English somehow becoming King Arthur of England, with castles, knights, and all that (which didn’t even exist then!). And, magic, and more. The Illuminati stories have grown exactly like that.

Some might tell you to google the history of the Rothschild family (not the part about them being bankers, etc, but the less known ‘conspiracy’ that stems from them). There’s a lot more to it than that. The word “Illuminati” incorporates a lot of things… It’s almost like the “occult” people used to wonder what it was, but it’s really just a term for a bunch of different things.
