Affiliate Marketing Secrets

I work in e-commerce and we have recently discovered that our affiliates are automatically getting paid, even if the payment for the product failed.
Our website hosters who deal with our affiliate marketing are now claiming that we have to manually cancel any commissions on payments that fail (we have never been told this!), but seeing as we never received payment in the first place, surely this isn’t right?
We are now over £10.000 down for sales that never completed and were probably fraudulent! Has anyone had any experience with this as an affiliate merchant? Is there any legal leg for us to stand on as neither our hosters/marketers, nor affiliate company are taking responsibility. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Martial arts sects in ancient China: Shao lin, Wudang (Wudang was formed from an ex Shao Lin disciple; though Wudang’s form of martial arts and philosophy is inclined towards Taoism), Emei, Kunlun, etc. Understandably, some of these sects were either of Taoist or Buddhist-affiliated origins.
China is a very huge nation and in ancient times, some temples were in isolated, secluded mountainous regions and were often raided by bandits, etc. Hence, there was a need for the monks to take up martial arts to defend the temple and themselves from such raids.

So I’m 18 and have been in a relationship with my bf for a year now. He is generally a nice popular guy, everybody loves and respects him, he also has a very bright future. However, after a few months of dating he started telling me who I should and shouldn’t see. He will not let me hang out with any guys who are friends and he doesn’t approve of many of my girl friends either. But then he took this ‘control’ to the next level by hitting and punching me one night, and forcing me to do things I didn’t want to do. It was awful. Also, the only thing I can give him credit for is that he does genuinely love me and I him- that’s the worst thing, because I know how hard I would find life without him and he has always tried to make me feel welcome in his friendship group. So deep down he is a nice guy. Also, the group of friends we hang with would all hate me too if I left/told. I can’t leave because he is all I have and he knows that. Also, he is a pretty powerful guy in terms of influence, so if i did tell, I’m sure he would ensure that he was never affiliated with the allegations anyway.
