Various Affiliate Marketing Services

Comments (0)

It takes more than just promoting a product online for a person to be called as an affiliate marketer. An efficient and effective marketer offers the merchants who sign up with them a variety of affiliate marketing services that range from pre-launch promotion to conversion analysis that cover all the aspects of the affiliate-marketing business.

The basic affiliate program service of promoting a merchant’s products and services requires the company to have a good network and top notch software. Additionally, the managers of affiliate marketing companies should be able to screen their affiliate marketers in order to increase the quality of the services they provide to merchants. This marketing service requires the company to develop a unique and integrated approach, as opposed to a standalone system. Another of the affiliate type marketing services is search engine optimization. Many merchants who are ignorant about this end up with sites that are poorly rated by search engines. Affiliate marketing networks help the merchant increase not only his site ranking, but also the relevance of keyword searches and the traffic. The networks also help their merchants by researching keywords, advertisement grouping, copy writing of ads, and other such services that help the merchant make his site more findable.

Many of the marketing services also use advertising strategies designed especially for social media channels. This service boosts the awareness of the brands sold by the merchant, while at the same time, adds to the publicity of the merchant’s company and his products. Using affiliate-marketing strategies for social media advertising is a very prudent move, as it helps in attracting the targeted traffic to the merchant’s website. In the long-run, this affiliate marketing service offers boosts in the SEO rankings of the merchant’s website. Affiliate marketing companies also offer merchants special services in lead generation. This service offers merchants expert advice in improving their services in any particular area they are interested to focus on. These services offer the merchants special contacts and tips that will help the merchants to establish them as reputed sellers in a given locality.

Other affiliate type marketing services offered to the merchants by affiliate networks includes the provision of support to the merchants through various channels such as email and telephone calls. There are forums that are designed especially to provide immediate support to the merchants when they require it. Other services assure the merchants’ custom banner ads and links, the designing of content upon request, etc. tracking systems that collect data on the traffic related to the merchant’s products are also some of the services that are offered.

While these are some of the affiliate marketing services offered by companies, there are several other more complicated and deep-rooted services that merchants can avail from these marketing networks.

Affiliate Marketing – 7 Work-from-Home Rules to Ensure Your Fast Track to Cash

Comments (0)

There are many benefits of working from home and having your business home-based. Imagine not having to face the daily grind of commuting, being able to work the hours you feel like and having the flexibility to have time with your loved ones.

Basically working your own business means you are your own boss, this can have some challenges though if you are not used to scheduling your work-day and would you believe it some people actually goof-off and become distracted instead of putting in the work to achieve their fast track to cash.

You definitely need to treat your business as a business and schedule your day with the right balance of work and play. This does not mean that you have to rigidly work from 9am to 5pm with an hour for lunch but you should ensure you put an appropriate amount of time in at “the office” to ensure you will grow your business.

This article shows you 7 ways that you should employ when working from home. It is very pertinent to the affiliate marketer but really applies to anyone who runs a home-based business.

1.Do not try to run your business in your pajamas, always dress accordingly. You do not need to wear a suit and tie but just have the mind-set of a successful professional.

2.Do not try to run your new shiny business from your lounge or kitchen; this is really an extension of the first point. You need to have an area (office) set aside where you can leave everything and come back to it tomorrow. If you are constantly clearing up your paperwork and working area you will not work in an efficient way and will not get you on to your fast track to cash.

3.Do not scrimp on having the right tools to do the job; this can range from purchasing a new laptop, software and office furniture. If you do not invest in you and your business from the beginning then you will struggle and most probably fail. Also remember a lot of those costs will be tax deductable.

4.Schedule each day and know when you should be working, for how long and more especially what you should be working on. Having your tasks prioritized is very important.

5.Get out of the home now and then. Do not allow yourself to become a recluse and stop interacting with people. You can go stir-crazy if you do not socialize, it might be a coffee with friends or even attending a meeting with other like-minded affiliate marketers but you need stimulation and variety to stay focused on your business goals. Do ensure it is in your schedule though.

6.Reward yourself for minor milestones you may achieve. This can be done in many ways but celebrate your progress as you go. This really gives you a great feeling to know you are moving forward with your business. Note you need to have a plan laid out so you know when you reach each milestone.

7.Make sure your family understand what your trying to do and where your at, having the support and understanding of your family is very important to your success.

Make sure you follow these 7 steps to ensure working from home on your affiliate business will be fun and enjoyable and will get you onto your fast track to cash.

Three Keys to Choosing the BEST Affiliate Program

Comments (0)

So you have made the decision to be an affiliate marketer. Congratulations! You’ve chosen a business model that has produced millionaires in a very short time, with far fewer resources, and far more fun. But, you are going to need to pick the right affiliate program to improve your chances of reaching millionaire acres in your game of life. So, how do you do that? Use each of these # keys to unlock the doors that would otherwise bar your way.

The First Key: Forget “BEST”

I know this sounds odd. After all, this is an article titled, “.” So, how can I be so bold as to tell you to forget “BEST”? Well, stick with me for a minute on this one.

You will need to get out of your mind the notion that there is ONE BEST affiliate program. Looking for the “best” affiliate marketing program is like looking for the proverbial fountain of youth. It doesn’t exist. What helps one affiliate marketer hit the million dollar jackpot might actually be the very program that destroys another affiliate marketer. The key here is to realize that there are many GOOD affiliate programs out there. To turn something that is GOOD into something that will be the BEST is entirely up to your own knowledge, skills and efforts.

The Second Key: Identify “GOOD”

If you have done any homework at all, you know there are hundreds (maybe even thousands) of affiliate program opportunities online today. To identify those that are “good” you will need to pay attention to the three “I’s”…interest, industry, and information. As you look at the many different choices, sift out those which interest you the most. If they look interesting to you, then you’ll be more successful in writing ad copy, creating content to ad value, and developing freebies to give away on your squeeze pages. If you are not interested in the product, you will not be as genuine, honest, and open as you develop a relationship with your web site visitors.

Once you have those that interest you, you can narrow down your options to fit the industry niche you want to work in. It is only natural for you to find many different affiliate programs in many different industries. You might find several in health and wellness, a few in personal development, some in making money online, and perhaps even others in home improvement or dating relationships. Your success, however, will depend on choosing just one industry niche to start. Then, once you are successful there, choose to branch into another area if you want.

The Third Key: List Your Own Criteria

Every person is unique. Affiliate marketers are no different. Your personality and needs, resources and time commitment, as well as working style will all determine what you need out of an affiliate program. It would really do you a disservice if I put together a laundry list of all the right criteria for turning a good affiliate program into the best affiliate program. Each and every affiliate marketer will need different things at different times. So, the best thing I can tell you is to be sure you stop and spend the time to decide what you need out of an affiliate program. How often do you need to get paid? How much support do you need in getting marketing materials together? Do you need your hand held the entire way, or do you want to go it alone?

You would probably be well served to sign up for a forum or two geared specifically toward affiliate marketers. Sign up for a free account. Lurk for a little while but then jump in with a few thoughts of your own. Ask a question or two. Learn all you can from others who are in the same business. This will help you decide what criteria you need to help you be successful.

As you use each of these three keys…Forget “BEST”…Identify “GOOD”…List Your Own Criteria… you will be able to unlock the doors that will set you on the road to those millions you want, the time freedom you will enjoy, and the fun you seek.

Learn Affiliate Marketing – 3 Things You Must Do to Force Your Profits to Explode

Comments (0)

Are you trying to learn affiliate marketing?

Pay attention to this. Every affiliate marketer I know is always looking for the next big thing. They want to find the most successful market that will give them the biggest paycheck. Unfortunately, there is no magic formula to help them choose a profitable market. It takes hard work and good marketing tactics to consistently pull in a nice profit.

I am going to share with you three of my top tactics that always work. Using these three tactics will increase your sales and make you a top affiliate online. You will see your income explode.

So what are they?

1. You must use a unique webpage for each product you want to promote. Do NOT just lump each product together on the same page to save some money on hosting charges. Each product should have a whole site devoted to it and it alone.

This site should contain a review of the product. This is to give visitors an understanding of the product and what it can do for them. If you can, include testimonials from other customers. Be sure to stick to the new FTC guidelines. And make sure you get permission to use their testimonial. If you can use their photo, that is even better.

You should also have articles on the site, explaining how to use the product. You can provide examples of things you can do with the product. You really want to include as much information about the product as you can. You want to get the potential customer so excited he whips out his credit card and buys from you on the spot.

2. Offer free stuff to your visitors. Put them above the fold so they can’t be missed. Build a list and send out autoresponder messages to keep reminding visitors about the product. Research indicates that many people don’t buy until between the 5th and 7th contact.

Once a visitor visits your webpage they either buy from you or they leave. If they leave chances are very good that you have lost the sale. Get them on a list and you send them information and reminders about your product. Make sure the information is directed toward reasons to purchase the product. Do not make it sound like a sales letter.

Focus on things like how the product will make their life more enjoyable. You have to convince people who got your free report that they will be missing something huge if they don’t buy the product.

3. Find targeted traffic. What good does it do to get 10,000 visitors a day if they are not interested in your product? Not much at all. One way to get targeted traffic is to write articles for publication. Find publications in your market. You will know that everyone reading your article is likely to be interested in your product.

Write at least two articles a week. They should be 300-600 words long. Writing these articles can eventually generate you as many as 100 targeted readers to your site each day.

Remember that a conversion rate of 1% is normal. So for every 100 visitors, only 1 person will buy. If you can get 1,000 visitors a day, then you should make 10 sales.

These methods are not difficult to follow but they do require some time and dedication to follow. Make the commitment to follow them for 3 months. Do this and you will be floored by the results.

Affiliate Marketing 101-5 – Benefits of Direct Linking

Comments (0)

The simplest form of affiliate marketing is to drive traffic to your affiliate link, and every time someone buys through this link you get paid your affiliate commission. This form of affiliate marketing is also called “direct linking.”

Being the simplest form of affiliate marketing makes it the first option for an affiliate as long as it works. Sometimes this option is not the best one and hence an affiliate marketer will consider building a buffer web page and drive the traffic to it.

There are cases when you need to stick to the direct linking method, especially when you are just starting to test a market that had never been proven to be profitable. As long as the affiliate commission is high enough to cover the expenses of advertising, an affiliate can test a market by direct linking to different sales pages. This testing process can give you a lot of valuable data to use in further promotional activities in this “niche” if proven profitable. Even if your direct linking campaign is losing money, by gathering these data you can turn it into a profitable one.

How to Benefit from Direct Linking in Affiliate Marketing:

1. Through direct linking you can figure out the size of this market. The number of impressions and/or clicks that your ads get is a good indicator for how big this market is, especially if you are driving traffic from various sources.

2. Testing two or more sales pages (or products) can also give you an idea of what this market requires in a sales page in order to take action.

3. Testing different ad copies will also give you an idea of what words trigger more sales. This is extremely valuable when you build your own niche website.

4. By tracking your results during the direct linking phase you know exactly what keywords trigger more sales. This is the most accurate keyword research tool ever.

Formal affiliate marketing training, unfortunately, doesn’t exist. The good news is that I have a completely free affiliate marketing training series posted on my website: http://marketing-online-101.com where I explain it the way I do it.

Affiliate Marketing 101-6 – Building a Buffer Website?

Comments (0)

In affiliate marketing sometimes it is not an option to drive traffic straight to the affiliate link. Such cases include:

1. Driving traffic from Google AdWords,

2. Direct linking is not allowed by the product owner or the advertiser, and

3. When the market is so competitive that you need to make the most out of each visitor in order to be profitable.

In such cases an affiliate marketer will need to send the traffic to a buffer page or website. Even if direct linking is an option, it is your best interest to build a website using the data you collected from direct linking in order to maximize your earnings.

Affiliate marketing is not just a way to make money on the Internet, it is a real business if taken seriously enough. And to build an affiliate marketing business you need to build a list of potential and current buyers, and make sure you made all the possible efforts to get them to buy your recommended products. And this can only be done when you send the traffic to your own website: the “buffer” website.

The job of the buffer page is to:

1. Presell the buyers so that when they land on the sales page they are prepared to pull out their credit cards and place the order.

2. Provide a medium to collect the emails of those potential buyers so that you follow-up with them with more preselling material to increase your chances of making a sale.

In any form of marketing on the Internet, building a list of potential and current customers is the most important activity that a marketer should do. This list is the most valuable asset that:

1. Can make you money on demand by sending promotional emails to your subscribers, and

2. No one can take it from you. You have already paid for bringing these visitors to your site. If you let them go, even if they buy, you are leaving money on the table. Collect their emails in a legit way and you can resell to them later.

Formal affiliate marketing training, unfortunately, doesn’t exist. The good news is that I have a completely free affiliate marketing training series posted on my website: http://marketing-online-101.com where I explain it the way I do it.
