‘I launched without really knowing what i was getting into and without a business plan. i did everything wrong. For four years I exported only to Korea and Japan – probably the most difficult markets in the world. if i had really thought about it, i probably would never have taken the first step. 1. Based on Brigit’s experience, would you still recommend a business plan or would just wing it?
2. What were secrets of her success without a business plan?

I would really love to have an ice cream shop. Well, everybody loves ice cream…who doesn’t? I’ve tried making my own simple ice cream at home using simple recipes but i was wondering if other ice cream parlors has their own “more-complicated-secret” recipes? I want to know everything from the start as in the marketing strategies, what would i need to have in my shop, the business plan etc. It will be great to hear from someone who is very good in business. Not necessarily a social network like Facebook, but a niche social network similar to goodreads.com and there would be a lot of downloading of pictures. I understand that I need a website designer, 1-4 good coders, & investors. Is this correct? I want it to be designed well, so I’m guessing this will cost me more.
Also, I need info for a business plan. How would I project yearly profits? I would include small ads on the site, but I have no idea how much that would bring in.
Also, should I ask this question on a “business” category instead of computer programming?
I’ve had a lot of Debbie-downers answer some of my questions, so please let’s pretend this is the best idea ever.

I am doing business plan for Bakery Shop. In preparing so I would like to know if I can distribute directly to wholesaler and at the same time be retailer for the passing by tourist. Is there any exaple of this kind in reality?
And any idea about niche strategy, tax and insurance?

I have a marketing business, and have put a lot of time and work into my business. Our projected numbers were off, and it took a little bit longer than expected to get things up and running, so I need to go about finding an investor or venture capitalist. Does anyone have any ideas of how to go about this? We have a solid business plan laid out and a niche concept in our market and region. I would just love any advice that anyone could possible give me.
