Alright here are the details please respect my question. My mother haven’t had her menstruation for 4 months already. She’s only 40 years old and it is impossible for her to be menopause because she had her first menstruation very late, around 18 years old or 17, that’s what she said so we both know that it is impossible for her be menopause at only 40. She can’t be pregnant as my father is in overseas. And please don’t tell me that my mom is pregnant because it is impossible i’m always with her and we never kept secret from each other. She’s only going outside to buy food in the market and mostly at home so it is impossible (So please don’t insist that my mother is pregnant). I’m really concern and nervous about this. She’s very healthy, she eats all kinds of healthy foods. As in all. So don’t tell that it’s because of her health. Please don’t tell me also to go and have her check up because we will really do that next month when my daddy arrives. I just want to have advance details and information regarding to what’s happening with my mom. Doctors and students out there who know something about this. Please inform me and enlighten me with this.. Thank you in advance. Again…… Respect my question. This is serious to me..
If anyone can recommend a good midwife for prenatal care…please let me know! Still haven’t been to the doctors yet…my last experience at May Grant can NEVER be repeated. They didn’t have a clue what they were doing…mixed up my blood test with someone else, listed a bacterial infection in my chart (which I did not have), charged my insurance for someone else’s procedure, asked me the gender of my baby every time I went for a check up, I had a different doctor every single time I went in, they pressured me to induce my labor even though I was only one week late and everything looked great, I went to the hospital in labor in the middle of the night only to be sent home and told that I was not in labor because I wasn’t acting like I was in enough pain…my water broke 10 min after getting home (gave birth shortly after thank god we made it to the hospital in time), heck they couldn’t even schedule me for a post-natal check up until 2 months after I gave birth…which my insurance would not cover because it was so late. I live in the Lancaster area in Pennsylvania and don’t want to travel too far for a check up. I would also prefer someone who it affiliated with Women and Babies Hospital. Thanks everyone!
Hi,
My gf is about to have our baby and we had to switch doctors pretty late into the pregnancy due to insurance changes that caused some problems. We chose a OBGYN with 32 years exp, had some good reviews online from patients. Two things are worrying me though, #1 he had his license revoked at one point by the State of California for not discovering a tumor in a patient which lead to her death and her babies. I know it sounds very scary but in a 32 year career I’m sure every doctor makes mistakes, but still it’s a big one and does scare me. Second he went to a school called armed forces medical college india, I can’t find a rating on this school and every web site boasts how great it is, but they all seem to be sites either run by the hospital or affiliated with it in some way so of coarse they would say that it’s a great school. Anyone familiar with this school? is it any good? Thank you for your help, I have to get moving on this quickly here and these two things just don’t sit well with me.
There’s like this whole Protest that went on I believe in Trois-Rivieres, Quebec about why the Government of Canada is taking action against Narconon for having non-credited doctors and what not….. and that they are affiliated with Scientology?
And that they are teaching drug methods that are based on the Church of Scientology as being fact-based to kids about rehabilitation?
But they have a lot of support in Trois-Riveres, Quebec. What do Canadians think about it all?

I’m 14, and i get excruciating cramps from my period. I’ve been thinking about trying to go on birth control just so i can skip it. I don’t plan on being sexually active any time soon, and i don’t even have a boyfriend, so using the pill for actual birth control isn’t at all what i want to do. Should I go on the Seasonique pill, which gives you only three periods a month, just so i don’t have to deal with cramps? And also, I know that, like nearly every other medication out there, the pill does have some risks and side effects, but I want to know what they specifically are for Seasonique, and how commonly they occur. I’ve talked to my mom about it, and shes a nurse, but id like some other opinions as well. Also, the hospital my mom works at is affiliated with the catholic church, and they provide my family with our insurance, but they don’t cover birth control because it’s against their beliefs, or whatever, so my family would have to pay ourselves. How much is it without insurance, and do you think its worth it to save me from my torturous cramps? And also, I know i should probably talk to a doctor about this, but I’ve never been to a gynecologist, and i don’t really want to start until I absolutely have to, so is there another way to get a doctors opinion without getting the whole scary examination?
