Affiliate Marketing Secrets

Colleagues farewell tonight (of a man I dont particularly like but, do admire in SOME ways – mostly he’s just a pretencious jerk).
Anyway, I organised the event and its close by to work – just a few casual drinks.
Is it bad if I don’t go? being the organiser and all? I REALLY dont want to. I know I should and should just be grown up for contacts and networking etc. but i just realllly loathe this guy. really dont want to waste my night drinking with colleagues. im so sick of it all!! im 25 by the way the guy leaving is about 55 and we are all part of a niche team re vessels and maritime. im so confused as to what to do!!

I was recently at a rather fancy wedding recently. The central group was the friends and family of the bride and groom and then there were a large number of affiliates (business partners and a few direct relatives of business partners like me). Id say around 100 attendees. And there was a bar in the room before the dinning room and also a bar in the dinning room. All drinks were free.
I’m wondering what kind of drinks I am supposed to order before the dinner and after the dinner.
For example, I had some white russians before the dinner. Is it bad to order white russians before dinner?

I have a very serious nut allergy (peanuts and tree nuts), and take great care with everything I eat, but I avoid drinks like Malibu and Morgan’s Spiced because of the ‘secret spices’ or ‘clever recipe’ type marketing. I know the obvious ones like Amaretto contain nuts, but others I’m not so sure. Does anyone know of any websites or anywhere to find information on what drinks do and don’t have nuts/allergens in them? It would be great to find out. Thanks a lot for your help.
