Here’s the lowdown, I’m 15 and 16 on Wednesday. I LOVE business! Literally I thought at first I just liked it because I like money. But then I have come to the realisation that business is on my mind 24/7, I think about possible business ideas, new inventions etc. My GCSE Business grades are straight Distinctions (A*s) and I already plan to study double business then an economics degree.
Business has become my passion! I have a great idea for a Social Media business with a niche that I think hasn’t fulfilled it’s potential yet! So I want to make the difference! Anyway the stock market has also gained my attention so much! I love numbers so it’s quite reasonable. I sometimes find myself randomly searching up quotes on yahoo finance haha!
For my birthday i’ve asked for several books including Richard Branson’s Screw Business as usual and the intelligent investor.
So my question, is it a good idea to plan my business and also learn to invest? (I’ll start by paper trading for about 3-6 months)
Also could anyone recommend any other books or idols? Currently I’m in love with Warren Buffet, Donald Trump, Richard Branson and Cameron Johnson!

I selected ‘Dreams’ as my theme during the exploration phase, but I’m thinking of branching out to the idea of life being transient. I have no idea how should I go about furthering my visual research into this – I’ve drawn observation studies of clocks, flowers, bubbles etc, but it all seems very… usual and uncreative, and it won’t stand out on the prep boards that have to be submitted. I’ll be going into the conceptual design, so any suggestions would be great! 😀
For my final work, I’ll be using photography, since there’s a bit of a niche area.
Thank you!

I am 29 years old and despite being employed and very much employable, I have never quite found my niche, never quite found satisfaction in any of the bottom line obsessed jobs i’ve had since leaving school.
I very nearly joined the army at 16 but didnt quite follow through, ive always really really fancied it but despite knowing the age limit is 34 i felt like maybe i was too old. I have no problems being told what to do, I am fit, or at least “always playing football and 2 circuit training classed a week” fit not “army fit” and liek i say i have a real desire for something out of teh ordinary.
I have a few gcse’s in eng, maths, I.T. etc so would appreciate any advice of what to join if indeed you would reccommend i did. I read good things about the subsidised living side of the army and see that a starting salary of 17.500 which is only slightly less than i get now…..
any advice or tips greatly appreciated.
