So… these are all words/verbs some slang …from Family Guy episodes 8D!
Could you try to help defining them D:?
on the skids: (no idea D;!): ”Will they let him have kids? Is his life on the skids?”
watered-down: (no longer there…): ”This man seems bent on diluting the already watered-down significance… of the elevated hand slap.”
niche: ”- Oh, there’s Jasper’s plane. – Where? Third one in line. Oh, it’s one of those new “niche” airlines.”
romp: ”Oh, what’s next? A workout followed by a romp around a crowded room while the music goes…”
rite: ”There’s just one little rite of initiation.”
to zone/zoning: ”I have to say I’m a little concerned about the zoning for…”
prose: ”Hi. Would you be offended if I told you your prose suggests a male-working class version of Emily Bronte?”
Thanks in advance!

I’d like to try my hand at affiliate marketing, but I don’t want the hassle of keeping up a website. Can I still participate in affiliate marketing? If so, how?

Does a clock’s second hand try to move non-stop around the clock, but it’s somehow stalled so it takes one second to get past each niche?
Or does it stop at each niche, and move to the next one after stopping at each niche for one second?
The question for the first one is what stalls the second hand over each line?
The problem with the second one is that it takes time to move from one point to another, and the second hand couldn’t just travel instantaneously to the next line. For it to work, some parts of the time the second the hand stopped at the niche would have to be equally divided on either side of the second, to give the second hand time to get to the next line. Is that what happens?
Or does it incorporate both, and take half a second to get to the next line, and half a second to pause on each line?
And in all of those, when and/or where does one second stop and the next begin? And what makes the second hand hesitate, wherever it hesitates?

I know for some of you this might be a silly question, but my parents have different thought processes then me. I have an interview with a venture capital firm on Wall Street coming up and am excited about it. My parents on the other hand think I should go on to future education which I have been offered a full tuition waiver through my professor. Granite this school is not where I really want to go anyways. My professor has a lot of friends at more prestigious schools though and said to me, do you want to go to this school; I can talk to my friends there for you. One is an IVY school and the other is a close to IVY school. The thing is, this degree is not an MBA, but would give me more knowledge on the venture capital industry I am interested in. If I went to one of these schools I could potentially get into one of the IVY business schools. Or I could say these educational opportunities are of no interest to me, and I can try and make my bones at this job if I so happen to am lucky enough to get accepted after the interview. The interview will go well if they ask mostly questions about my scientific background and work experience related to their investment niches.

washington state: i am 4 1/2 months pregnant an in a very awkward living situation. my 20 hour a week minimum wage job and less than 3 dollars in the bank is apparently more than enough for me and my new baby to get by on. the father has ran out and told me i won’t ever see a dime from him. where i currently am staying i need to be out in less than 3 months and have no family to turn to or anyone that can lend me money… does anyone know of any organizations not affiliated with dshs that could help me with moving expenses and/or very low income housing for young expecting mothers… really anything that could help me in anyway… preferably in lakewood, puyallup, tacoma, and surrounding cities.
