But report the amount I made ($1800)? I thought this form was for my records only…what difference does it make if I say the exact amount I made, whether of not I turn in the form. I work for myself, and I’m not employed by anyone. One of my clients says he mailed me a 1099…but I don’t want myself to be affiliated with him or his company. So…can I just report the amount I made instead? Sorry this is the first time I’m filing taxes. I thought I needed the 1099… Which is why I’ve been waiting this long. But it isn’t coming, so can I just go into a tax place and tell them what I made?

I am nearly 16 and have Major Depressive Disorder which is being treated with fluoxetine (Prozac) 20mg/day. I have been on it for nearly two years. I think it may have stopped working, as I am having very serious thoughts of suicide and have been constructing a plan. Normally, this would mean I need to go up on my dosage of medication, but I have had, for longer than I have been on this medication, schizophrenia-like symptoms. These symptoms have been getting steadily worse since I was very young, but my therapist says that my medication may be making it worse. I am not sure. 20mg/day is a relatively low dose, and I was wondering what would happen if I just stop taking it cold turkey, instead of weaning off. I haven’t taken it yet today, and so far I feel fine. My therapist does not know that my depression has been worsening, and my prescribing doctor is not aware of the schizophrenia-like symptoms. I really don’t want to have to tell my doctor about the schizophrenia-like symptoms, because then I might have to see a psychiatrist and be dependent a whole new bunch of medications, so I need to do this by myself. Other reasons not to tell my doctor include but are not limited to a) I have a huge fear of being involuntarily committed to a psychiatric ward, and the schizophrenia-like symptoms could warrant that coupled with the suicidal thoughts, b) he’d tell my mother, who would only make matters worse despite good intentions, c) I believe he’s out of town this week, not to mention d) I sometimes wonder if he and other professionals are affiliated with the Watchers (the things that watch me all the time, I have no better way to describe them). And I can’t see a psychiatrist without a referral because I live in Canada, besides the fact that psychiatrists scare me… a lot. I need to do this myself. What will happen if I just stop taking the prozac? Will it be that bad?
I do exercise, but exercising has never really helped me. I can’t call my physician because I think he is out of the country right now on vacation. He is a pediatrician and my family doctor has seen me only a handful of times in my entire life, including when I was a baby, so I can’t and don’t want to see her.

A cop from Illinois told me that a Class 3 felony includes $150 damage, but I read a source on Illinois law that states that it is $300 and higher. Also, the cop said under Illinois state law, parents can hit their kids as punishment at any age. In addition to that, he said that parents can legally physically threaten kids and people affiliated with their kids. Now, I know the latter two are 100% false. The cop used all these to “settle” a domestic dispute between my siblings and my mom. Now, I don’t want the cop to assume he is correct when he is clearly NOT. What should I do?

Misguided Effort Will Drive Thriving Internet Businesses to Nearby States
CHICAGO, March 10, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn today signed the so-called Internet tax bill (HB 3659), which requires out-of-state merchants who advertise on websites based in Illinois to collect taxes from all Illinois customers.
The new tax law relates to out-of-state merchants like Amazon.com and Overstock.com that do not have a physical presence in Illinois but have relationships with Illinois advertisers and publishers like CouponCabin.com. Under the provisions of the new law, these merchants are deemed to have a presence (nexus) in Illinois and are therefore required to collect Illinois sales tax.
In response to the Governor’s approval of HB 3659, Scott Kluth, CEO of CouponCabin.com, issued the following statement:
“The Governor’s approval of HB 3659 is deeply disappointing. As a result, Illinois will lose jobs, many thriving businesses like CouponCabin and other affiliate marketing firms will be forced to move to other states, and most important, this law will not generate the tax revenue Illinois thinks it will collect.

Competition for resources will occur, which will have negative effects on both species involved.
It is possible that one species may be a superior competitor and cause the local extinction of the other species. It is also possible that over time, the two species develop a realized niche and are able to partition their resources and coexist. However, it is impossible to make any conclusive prediction from the information given.
