Hello,
I had a few ideas that I’m looking for feedback on. I’m trying to come up with some ideas for link building.
1. I always see that there are tons of coupon websites out there. Hell, I never buy anything online without looking there first. So for those with an ecommerce site, how about offering a coupon as a way to build links? Anybody try this? Results? Is there software that submits your offers in bulk?
2. Years ago I was looking into affiliate marketing. I came across a program where affiliates gave direct links (non-coded) back to your website, hence building your one-way links. I just cannot remember what company that was?! Any ideas? Anybody have any experience with this?
3. Redistributing professionally written articles. Years ago I had a bunch of articles written for me, I sent them out via Isnare and today, I can barely find them. I understand we want to try to avoid dup content, but isn’t a link still a link?
Appreciate your insight!

to your articles and direct visitors to your merchant’s website. These article directories rank highly with search engines so you can also get lots of traffic from search engines even without a website of your own. Isnare is an article distribution directory that can distribute your articles to hundreds of other directories for about $2.00 per article, I use it all the time and I get great results.
2. Participate in forums: Online forums are networking communities where people go to ask questions and seek answers about a particle topic or product. You can search for online forums related to the affiliate product you promote and post relevant comments. When you sign up in these forums you have a signature page were you can put a link to direct people who view your post to your merchant’s website. Most forums have guidelines for posting and comments, so make sure you read these guidelines before posting a topic or making a comment.
3. Ezine advertising: The two methods mentioned above are free ways to product affiliate product but Ezine advertising requires a small investment. For those of you who do not know, Ezines are online magazines with a list of regular subscribers. To promote with ezines, first of all look for an Ezines that is related to the product you are promoting. For example if you are promoting an eBook about gardening, look for Ezines about gardening and advertise with them. People who subscribe to those Ezines would view your ad and click through to your merchant’s website and probably make a purchase. A quick search on Google will give a list of Ezines to advertise with. There are also Ezine directories where you will find list of Ezines according to categories, this will make it easy to find an Ezine related to your product.
These methods are the easiest for the first time affiliate marketer. There are other methods for promoting affiliate product like “Pay per click” and “Pay per view”, but these methods can be expensive and can cost you a lot of money if you do not know what you are doing. They can also be the most effective ways to drive traffic to a merchant’s website and to start making real money with affiliate marketing.
