BACKSTORY: I have a friend of mine who I never see. She’s 3 years older (17) than me (14), and goes to a different school- we got in touch via facebook, as she is in this theatre program I want to be in, and I wanted to know more about the program. I met her once (at a performance), before telling her everything I’ve been through-bullying, sexual abuse, going to the psych ward, a divorce with my parents, and much more. I didn’t get into that school that I messaged her about- and ever since then, she’s been blowing me off. I met her once again in April at a performance for the program I wanted to go to. We talked a little bit afterwards, I gave her some sweets, and we hugged a few times. I love her to death, she’s just so amazing- she has never once judged me, and she really understands me, but we haven’t talked lately, and I really miss that. I hug my pillow at night, wishing it was her. She has inspired me, and for the first time, I feel loved. I look up to her as a sister, but I have no clue how she looks at me.
ANYWAYS.
I had a weird dream about her the other night. I had been at the supermarket, buying things, and I saw a man. I took a good look at him for some reason, and then left. I went home, and went to my backyard to tell my family I’m home. My Mom wasn’t home, but my brothers were- and then I looked at our seat swing. I see that she’s sitting in the seat swing, and I feel my heart drop. We immediately ran up to each other, and hugged. We let go, but then we went back in and hugged again. After that, we both said “I love you.” at the same time. We hung out around my house, and then played on the piano. After some time, the dude from the supermarket showed up at my house, and told my friend he was ready for his piano lesson. She gave him a piano lesson in my house, on my piano. I couldn’t understand why she was giving a lesson at my house of all places, but I went along with it. I just sat around in the same room, on my laptop the entire time. When the lesson was over, the dude left. She left about 5 minutes later. Before she left, she told me that she wanted us to hang out again. She gave me a hug and then left. I woke up after that.
I miss her deeply, our conversations over text, and her liking all my statuses and photos on facebook. But most importantly, I miss being her friend. I even cry over it sometimes, and I just wish with all my heart that I had gotten into that program so we could’ve hung out. There is a girl that gotten in who I met at my audition (she was super mean to me), and now she and my friend are hanging out 24/7 always liking all each other’s statuses on facebook, always commenting on each other’s pictures, etc…..It annoys me, because in a way, I feel like I’ve been replaced. I never received much love as a child, so when I talked to her, I finally felt like I was loved- which was honestly super amazing for me. I feel like in a way, she doesn’t love me anymore.
I don’t understand at all what this dream means. I know that in dreams, backyard means: To dream about your backyard represents your childhood memories or your subconscious. Alternatively, dreaming of your backyard refers to the secrets you are keeping. There are some aspects of your life which you want to keep hidden and out of the view of others. The dream also represents some aspect of your life that you have taken for granted. The condition of the yard is also symbolic of how well you maintain and balance aspects of your life.
I also know the supermarket is: To dream that you are in a market represents some emotional or physical need that you are currently lacking in your life. You may be in need of nurturance and some fulfillment. Consider the specific items that you are shopping for. Alternatively, the market signifies frugality.
Also, piano means: To dream that you are playing a piano indicates a quest for harmony in your life. Consider where the piano is placed as a clue as to what aspect of your life needs accordance. If no sound is coming out of the piano, then it implies a lack of confidence. You are not sure about how to express yourself and how to voice your beliefs.
Could someone PLEASE help me put together what this dream means? I’ve tried, but I honestly think this dream was just telling me that I truly long to see her and feel her friendship again (which is true, and I’ve known that since the moment I didn’t get into the program)
Even if you can’t piece it together, could you please just tell me some of your ideas? I really need help on this one and I feel like it really means something. I am forever grateful for any help I can receive. Thank you in advance, and have a nice day/afternoon/night.

Wow, This is Pretty Epic (Republicans manufactured evidence on Benghazi)
Josh Marshall
Generally, once partisan, tendentious sources leak information that turns out to be wrong, nothing’s ever done about it. That’s for many reasons, some good or somewhat understandable, mostly bad. But on CBS Evening News tonight, Major Garrett did something I don’t feel like I’ve seen in a really long time or maybe ever on a network news cast. He basically said straight out: Republicans told us these were the quotes, that wasn’t true. Quick transcript after the jump …
SCOTT PELLEY: Also at his news conference today the president called for tighter security for U.S. diplomatic facilities to prevent an attack like the one in Benghazi, Libya, last year that killed U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans. Of course, Benghazi has become a political controversy. Republicans claim that the Administration watered down the facts in talking points that were given to U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice for television appearances while Mr. Obama was running for reelection. Republicans on Capitol Hill claim that they had found proof of this in White House e-mails that they leaked to reporters last week. Well, it turns out some of the quotes in those e-mails were wrong. Major Garrett is at the White House for us tonight. Major?
MAJOR GARRETT: Scott, Republicans have claimed that the State Department under Hillary Clinton was trying to protect itself from criticism. The White House released the real e-mails late yesterday and here’s what we found when we compared them to the quotes that had been provided by Republicans. One e-mail was written by Deputy National Security Advisor Ben Rhodes. On Friday, Republicans leaked what they said was a quote from Rhodes. “We must make sure that the talking points reflect all agency equities, including those of the State Department, and we don’t want to undermine the FBI investigation.” But it turns out, in the actual e-mail Rhodes did not mention the State Department. It read “We need to resolve this in a way that respects all the relevant equities, particularly the investigation.” Republicans also provided what they said was a quote from an e-mail written by State Department Spokesman Victoria Nuland. The Republican version notes Nuland discussing: “The penultimate point is a paragraph talking about all the previous warnings provided by the Agency (CIA) about al-Qaeda’s presence and activities of al-Qaeda.” The actual e-mail from Nuland says: the “…penultimate point could be abused by Members to beat the State Department for not paying attention to Agency warnings…” The C.I.A. agreed with the concerns raised by the State Department and revised the talking points to make them less specific than the C.I.A.’s original version, eliminating references to al-Qaeda and affiliates and earlier security warnings. There is no evidence, Scott, the White House orchestrated these changes.

There were meaningful Benghazi lies after all
But if we’re going to talk about real political scandals, can we at least have a conversation about Republicans lying to reporters about Benghazi?
For those who can’t watch clips online, CBS’s Major Garrett told viewers last night something news consumers don’t usually see or hear: House Republicans gave journalists bogus information, apparently on purpose, in the hopes of advancing the right’s version of the Benghazi story.
As Josh Marshall explained, “Generally, once partisan, tendentious sources leak information that turns out to be wrong, nothing’s ever done about it. That’s for many reasons, some good or somewhat understandable, mostly bad. But on CBS Evening News tonight, Major Garrett did something I don’t feel like I’ve seen in a really long time or maybe ever on a network news cast. He basically said straight out: Republicans told us these were the quotes; that wasn’t true.”
Given what we now know, congressional Republicans saw all of these materials in March, couldn’t find anything controversial, and moved on. But last week, desperate to manufacture a scandal, unnamed Republicans on Capitol Hill started giving “quotes” from the materials to reporters, making it seem as if the White House made politically motivated edits of Benghazi talking points.
Maybe this was just an innocent mistake, rather than a deliberate attempt at deception? Nope: “On Monday, Mother Jones noted that the Republicans’ interim report included the correct version of the emails, signaling that more malice and less incompetence may have been at play with the alleged alterations.”http://maddowblog.msnbc.com/_news/2013/0…

Kinetic Concepts Inc. has reached a settlement with a former executive it recently sued after he agreed to work for rival wound-care company Smith & Nephew. Under the terms of the settlement, Israel Vierma — who had been KCI’s regional vice president of Latin America and Brazil — can work for Smith & Nephew but is barred from being directly involved in the company’s Latin American operations for almost the next two years. Vierma also can’t directly assist London-based Smith & Nephew in China, Japan and India for the next 60 days. Terms of the settlement are confidential, but certain details were revealed in a permanent injunction KCI and Vierma entered into and filed on Sunday in federal court. The injunction was signed by U.S. District Judge Harry Lee Hudspeth on Monday. KCI spokesman Mike Barger declined to comment on the settlement. Vierma’s lawyer and a Smith & Nephew spokeswoman each did not respond to a request for comment. Smith & Nephew was not named in the suit. Vierma lives in Miami. KCI sued Vierma last month, seeking to prevent him from working in any capacity related to the development of emerging markets for Smith & Nephew. The case originally was filed in Bexar County district court but was moved by Vierma to federal court last week. The San Antonio company argued in its complaint that a noncompete agreement Vierma signed bars him from working for any of KCI’s competitors. Smith & Nephew was among the competitors identified by name. “Vierma acknowledged in the … agreement that his exposure to KCI’s confidential information gave him a ‘competitive advantage’ in the highly competitive medical technology marketplace,” KCI’s complaint states. Vierma also acknowledged, the suit added, that “disclosure of KCI’s confidential information ‘could place [KCI] at a serious competitive disadvantage and could cause serious damage, financial or otherwise, to the business of [KCI].’” Both KCI and Vierma agreed that the noncompete agreement is valid and “supports the entry of (the) permanent injunction.” According to the injunction, Vierma can work as Smith & Nephew’s vice president of strategic marketing for negative-pressure wound therapy in emerging and international markets. However, his duties can’t be specifically directed at the wound-care markets and negative-pressure wound therapy for the specified time periods. KCI generated $14.5 million in sales in Latin America and Brazil last year, according to a signed declaration Vierma submitted in the case. KCI is owned by London-based private equity firm Apex Partners and affiliates of two Canadian pension investment management firms.

I was at Kroger’s today to pick up Pepsi 2-liters which was on sale at Meijer’s 10 for $10 w/the 11th free. The clerk said sorry Kroger’s doesn’t price match. I walked out & went to Walmart whom I hate (but they do price match) & got what all I had originally put in my cart at Kroger’s.

STORY TIME. Today i received awful news, a job offering i had received from a company was being rescinded because i did not disclose information prior to a background check. The information in question was 2010 conviction for misdemeanor possession of up to 35 grams of marijuana, however according to the background check (for which HR was nice enough to furnish a copy for me) was listed in conjunction with a felony possession of a controlled substance.
Now both citations i had been arrested for in Feb 2007, however when i attended court in Feb 2010, the felony possession of a controlled substance was dropped by the Prosecuting Attorney and i plead guilty to misdemeanor possession of up to 35 grams.
Now its 2013 and the job i had until this morning is now rescinded because of a felony conviction, reported by a background check, that never happened. naturally i start by immediately calling my lawyer. he responds that according to records they on file pertaining to the specific Case Number in question resulted in a misdemeanor conviction and not a felony conviction. I am advised to search case.net (an unofficial website pertaining to court cases, supported and regulated by the missouri circuit court) and was given the 13th circuit court’s phone number as well. i check case.net, sure enough the case number in question is listed as misdemeanor possession of up to 35 grams conviction. i then go to my next source, the official 13th circuit court’s office number. after a lengthy conversation where i explain to the (very polite/helpful) lady my situation, she agrees to check the courts official database. according to the official database, the same case number is listed a felony possession of a controlled substance conviction. THATS IT? It doesn’t even list the possession of up to 35 grams conviction in conjunction with the felony conviction, just the felony conviction. After asking for an official copy of criminal records she directs me to page where i can print out/fax forms to receive the information.
Now after finding out that the case number filed under case.net and in records of my attorneys (possession of 35 grams/misdemeanor) is radically different then the exact case number filed under the 13 circuit court’s official database (possession of a controlled substance/felony), i call back my attorney to report the findings. After and lengthy hold time and man assurances that i could always leave a message, to which i said “no, ill hold as long as possible,” i speak with my attorney and report the findings. My attorney says for me to fax over my background check report and that the will pull up the specific paper work on my case located in the annex. they say it will take a day to get it out of the annex and to call back tomorrow.
So now comes my question, do i have grounds to sue on the basis of clerical error? After all the wrong conviction information was processed on the official database of the 13th circuit court, contrary to the information my lawyer has (they did bring up an abbreviated court sentence on their computers, but the specifics on my base are located at the annex), contrary to case.net the unofficial reporting site for my case number and deposition.
i’ve made plenty of mistakes in my past and did rather dumb crap, but i worked my way out of the legal hole and thought id had recused myself of the past. today i lost a good paying job with benefits, i have a B.A. degree and really thought my days of working minimum wage post graduation were over, that i had finally found my big break, a job that overlooked the known offenses i had on my record and instead looked at the qualification i met for the job. now because the information was either entered incorrectly (the most likely) or some radical conspiracy was placed against me (the most unlikely), i face a criminal record that does not match what i was convicted in court of.
if anyone can answer my question and, let alone, read the novel i have written to explain my situation, it would be greatly appreciated.
