Hello! I work for DarKear Services International, an internet company that is creating a website for MYeBayPro, a company that will setup a retail establishments’ eBay store, paypal account, and everything else needed for selling their inventory on eBay.
Since eBay (both the name and logo) is on the website, and in the name, clearly they are a threat to being sued by eBay for infringement (along with PayPal, i suppose…).
How can I “cite” their copyrights on the site? Here is what I have so far in the foot-note, including our footnote of copyright and ownership:
Site content and design copyright (c) 2011 by DarKear Services International, in association with MYeBayPro. This site, in part or in whole, may not be copied without owner and editor consent. All documents (including, but not limited to: images, powerpoints, keynotes, etc.) are of the sole ownership of MYeBayPro.com. All documents are for personal use only, not to be sold or copied elsewhere. www.darkearservices.com
eBay is copyright by eBay Corp. All rights reserved. www.ebay.com. No copyright infringement is intended. Visit http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/copyrigh… for more information. All logos and images belonging to eBay are property thereof; MYeBayPro is not in any way affiliated with eBay, nor does MYeBayPro intent to, or therefore, infringe upon the rights of, and/or property of, eBay Corp.
See it on the site at myebaypro.com
Can we still get in trouble? What else should be in there?
