For years my Yahoo mail ‘inbox’ opened with a list a dozen of the most recent mails received. I could click on ‘next’ if I needed an to earlier pages of the list. Suddenly, inbox now opens with the whole damn list, going back several years! (The ‘saved’ folder does the same.) How has this happened and how can I get back to the normal behaviour of Yahoo mail?

When I closed my e-mail yesterday, I had 2.5 pages in my inbox @ 25/page.
When I opened my e-mail this morning, the box count shows I have 74 e-mails but only 5 appear and there is no longer a page indicator so I can switch to the next page.
In addition, I get this funky grey box superimposed over the message titles.
The box has a horizontal line at the top and underneath that line is an arrow pointing up.
If I click on that I get a menu about blogging, printing, and refreshing.
Nothing happens if I choose refresh.
I closed out of Yahoo! hoping that my mail would reset to default specs but that didn’t work.
I went into mail options and changed the setting to 200 per page and now I can at least scroll thru the messages but this really isn’t satisfactory.
I use this e-mail in my job searches and need to keep access to some of the older messages.
Is there any way to get my old settings back?

I have a couple of folders that has 30000 emails. All traditional methods no longer work. Come on Yahoo!

And I bet they want some personal data to verify the transfer, don’t they? If you were expecting it, then they already have the necessary data. So this doesn’t pass the smell test.
