Affiliate Marketing Secrets

Places like Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, why don’t you hear about hate crimes based on race there? In fact, you rarely hear about crime there. Is it because it’s so cold most of the time that people can’t be concerned with being a criminal or is it because they don’t have a reason to be racist? I am black, and I can understand that the things black people do cause white people to be racist, so I am wondering whether living in the Midwest where there are few black people would be better for me. I try to get along with everyone and am not a troublemaker. I believe that other people cause people to snap and do bad things, and so I believe we are all born innocent. Am I wrong here, guys? Not that I plan on moving there, but say I met a girl from Idaho. Would I be okay moving to Idaho? 🙂

During the 2008 campaign a Fox affiliate somewhere in the midwest sent a reporter and a cameraman to a small cafe- there were about 20 customers present, and the Fox reporter went around and asked every single customer for whom they were going to vote. Without a single exception, the answer was “Obama”. After which the reporter looked into the camera, and said, “Well Ted, as you can see, it’s about evenly divided.” How he managed to say this with a straight face is beyond me. This is the “fair & balanced” reporting Fox tries to claim. Really….. what DOES it take for people to realize how bad Fox is?

I recently wrote a how-to book that has a niche market – but quite a large niche market – that is untapped. I grew up in Minnesota and am currently living in Iowa, and am looking for someone willing to take this project on – but with the resources I’ve looked at I am having trouble finding a literary agent that will take on my book. I appreciate any help anybody can offer me! I am not sure if I am being naive in thinking it will help, but I feel having a “midwest connection” with a literary agent and/or publisher could/would help my cause. Thanks!

I live in Long Island and work in Manhattan. I am originally from Indiana… I really don’t have any friends and it’s sad 🙁 I’m 25… I just started a relationship with a new guy who is still living in the town he was born and raised in..he has about a billion friends. I’m embarassed for him to see I dont have any. I even have a hard time making friends in my new office where I’ve been for 4 months….I feel i don’t fit in. Maybe bc I’m from the midwest and here I am amongst all these Manhattanites and Long Island girls and I just can’t find my social niche.
