Making Money Online In Uk?

I have looked endlessly.
I want an option to do some work online for just a couple of hours a day, i dont need to earn a huge amount just some extra cash for of the some things i want like a holiday or a new phone. I have found a few ways but to be honest i cant be bothered spending 30 minutes on a boring survey for just 50p.
The other condition is im in the UK so finding sites is a bit more difficult as alot only offer US residents or pay in dollars which isnt too much of a problem but i would prefer if it was a straight UK site.
SO, what ways are there to make money online? I was thinking about making a site with affiliate programs+ adverts etc.
What I want to know is what YOU have already tried and failed/suceeded in. I dont mind spening time making something like a website as i have the patience with more design work unlike surveys.

How To Tell My Boss That I’m Pregnant?

I have worked there for over 2 years. I’m scared that they will judge me, so I have held off on telling them. I am almost 5 months pregnant and it’s starting to become obvious that I’m gaining baby and not fat. I just had to call in and say that I couldn’t work tomorrow because I have a fever, my boss seems disappointed because I’ve always usually worked when I’m sick. I know if I call and explain to her that I am pregnant and this is my first time being sick with a fever since I’ve gotten pregnant, but I am scared that they will use that as an excuse to not give me as many hours. I am 18 and single, and my work place is religiously affiliated.
I guess what I’m asking is how I should tell my boss (over the phone) tonight when I call her.

Can Police Refuse To File A Police Report For Stolen Social Security Number, Stolen Bank Info, And Threa?

I have received multiple phone calls from a fraudulant company saying that I owe them money (I have already verified that I do not, as they said they are a debt collector for Cashnetusa.com. I called the actual company just to make sure there was nothing wrong with an account I had opened up previously. They said I was in good standing and that other customers have complained about the same type of phone calls, but it is not in any way affiliated with cashnetusa.com). I have all proof, etc of this. I was told I needed to pay back $400 that I supposedly took out in July of 2009 (which again is crazy because I did not even know there was a company called cashnetusa.com at that time). Anyways, I know that some people may suggest that I stop these harrassing phone calls by either getting a new number or blocking their calls. However, not only are they calling my work, they’re calling from multiple different numbers from area codes all around the USA. In addition, they have my social security number, bank information, and other personal information. I have put an alert out on all three credit bureaus and filed a complaint on the FTC. However, I went to file a police report as well and they refused to do so. I even explained to the police woman that not only do these scammers have my information, but they’ve also threatened to come after me. In the man’s exact words, “I will personally come after you and make you pay for this money you owe.” Please remember that there is no money I owe in the first place. These people also say their names are Mary Smith or Mike Miller, yet have the strongest Indian accent when they speak. I told the police that I’m concerned because I’m not sure where they are really located and they have access to my personal information so can find me at home and that I live alone so it is something that concerns me. She told me the best thing they can do is if someone who looks suspicous shows up at my home or work then I should call the police. She didn’t even let me file a report for my stolen information! I feel like this is completely illegal. So I have to wait for these people to either come find me or use my information to steal from me. What do I need to do?

Opera Browser Failed..?

Ok , I ‘ ve got a Imate running Windows Mobile, and I ‘ m getting less and less font of this phone . For voice , text , and basic address book, etc . functions it works fine . But when it comes to Internet, it downright sucks. I ‘ m unable to update to Windows Mobile, which means I ‘ m stuck with the most outdated Internet Explorer mobile browser ever . It ‘ s horrible , slow , and terribly unreliable . So I do a Google search for mobile browsers. The Firefox one only works on some Nokia phone, the SkyFire browser captures all my info on my servers – um, no thanks – I already have enough privacy issues dealing with my Facebook account. So the only viable option is the Opera 10 Mobile browser or the Opera 5 Mini. The Opera 5 Mini doesn ‘ t seem to recognize my keypad correctly – instead of the letters I expected to appear when I begin typing , a bunch of weird characters show up – which basically renders Opera 5 Mini unusable . Opera 10 Mobile on the other hand, is awesome. Here ‘ s my problem – I can only run it successfully right after installing it . As soon as I try to launch it at a later date , I get a dreaded “Opera Failed to Reserve Heap . . . Closing ” error , following which the application shuts down . If I uninstall Opera , restart my phone and re -install it , it will work again; but again – only for a short while . This is driving me crazy !! , How the heck do I get this browser to work ? I Googled the “failed to reserve heap ” error and found virtually nothing on the topic . Strange. Don ‘t people use this browser? Seems to me to be a potential market niche for Opera , especially considering it ‘ s lack of penetration in the desktop browser market .

I Think My Girlfriend’s Father Is A Member Of The Russian Mafia, But I’m Not Sure…need Advice?

Ok, so i have been dating my girlfriend for just over 10 months and it’s going really well. I’m English and she’s Russian (Obviously) and we met at University through a society. Since then we have been getting on really well, she’s fantastic and she’s studying Fashion so she knows how to dress to impress. Her father sent her here to study in England and paid for all her fees up front. Whenever she needs money, her father will send her money to support her. She told her father & mother that she was dating an English guy (me) and they told her to bring me over to Russia to meet them, so we went over to Russia to meet them. When i got there, we pulled up to this huge estate set on a few aches of land, big huge gates at the front of house, and surveillance every 20 ft until the entrance. It really felt like i was about to enter a high security building like the White house or something. When we got there my girlfriend’s mother showed us in and made me feel really welcome, but her father was out on “business” at the time. Anyway, my girlfriend showed me around and took me to the stables to show me her horses. Well after we finished, we walked back to the house and her father got out of a black limousine with a briefcase, so my girlfriend ran over to him and hugged him, he looked delighted to see her. Then he came to me and shook my hand (really hard lol) and said in thick broken English “Hello [my name] nice to meet you, hope you are treating my daughter well” i was little intimidated to be honest. Anyway, we all went out later that evening for dinner at the local restaurant, which was a really nice place.
To cut a long story short, my girlfriend’s father’s phone rang, he looked at it and went outside to speak. He came back in to the restaurant and finished dinner, then said he had to go deal with some business. His wife and my girlfriend looked fine about it, he then gave some money to his wife, then left. When my girlfriend and her mother got back to the house, 5 guys, 3 dressed in black suits, 1 in a silver suit who looked quite slick, and another guy who was dressed in a long leather jacket with a tattoo on the side of his neck were saying “goodbye” to my girlfriend’s father. We then went in the house, i went to the toilet and heard my girlfriend’s father getting irate on the phone in Russian.
Anyway, me and my girlfriend spent 1 month in Russia in which her father paid for everything we did! I kept seeing different guys, all looking slick (hair back) etc. I’m just curious as to whether my girlfriend’s father is Mafia affiliated. I did ask my girlfriend about 3 weeks ago what her father does, and she said he owns businesses but doesn’t know much about his work life. This made me think he could be Mafia Affiliated, do you think? I’m worried in case my girlfriend and i broke up, he could end up sending someone to kill me or something.

“wells Fargo Purchase Shield” Scam?

i noticed that i was being charged $12.99 every month for some service called “wells fargo purchase shield” that i was later told that i agreed to when i activated my card several months earlier. then found out that it wasnt even a wells fargo service, but was supposedly some sort of business affiliate of theirs.
when i called them, i canceled my membership of their “insurance program”, and demanded a refund – the phone representative told me i would have to email review@cppna.com in order to get a full refund, but assured me that she refunded the previous charge on my account from that month and that my membership was canceled and i would not receive anymore charges. i then emailed this shady review board requesting a total refund and got an automatic email saying i would get my response within 10-12 days…instead, here’s what happened:
-i waited almost 3 weeks and got no response
-i looked at my statements online and battled them on the phone a few more times only to find out that they never gave me credit back for the previous month like i was told, and they actually waited 2 weeks to cancel my membership until the 19th, which just so happens to be the day that they charge me every month! so they never gave me credit for a single charge back, and then even charged me for the next month on top of that, and then finally canceled my membership later that billing day. also, half of the time i would call them they would say they couldnt even find me in their system so there was nothing they could do, and of course a lot of them barely spoke english. this is just some of the hassle and BS and lies i went through.
so i emailed…again…explaining some of what had happened and demanded a full refund or else i would be very happy to pursue legal action. 2 days later i got an email saying, among other things, that i would receive additional credits totaling $77.94. (i saw that they credited back the last charge of $12.99 from the last time i was on the phone with them, and i plan on canceling my credit card as soon as i get the rest of the credit back)
anyway, i googled them and didnt find much. how is this company (and wells fargo bank) getting away with this kind of thing? how much do companies like this pay wells fargo to dupe their customers into their scams? are there any actions you would take if you were me?
