So I am applying to a private university and like many other private universities, this one is affiliated with a religion. It is a private Christian university? The programs and education they offer seem great however I am Catholic. Catholics are Christians. At my school I have participated in Christian club at my school( many people from my Catholic Church attend this club, too). The bible is universal as well as the talks and hey it’s always good to be open minded. Should I say on the application that I have been involved in this club as well?

I live in Philadelphia. I’m trying to find a major in web development, not so much the design part (wouldn’t mind it, though) but the coding (php, jquery, and all of those fancy stuff including basics like html and css, etc.)
The only college/university I could find was Drexel, but Drexel is a private university and it’s EXPENSIVE. I need to attend a state affiliated college but I can’t find one with the major I want. I talked to my counselor and he seem a little clueless about web development.

I am currently going to a private university and soon will be graduating with a double major in Business and Economics. I am also involved in two student organizations (Economics Association & Accounting Association). My only concerns are that I have a small burn scar on my hand from cooking which some people associate with gang relations especially because I am Hispanic, but I am not gang affiliated at all. I also only have G.E.D. due to family adversity during high school.
Do I have any chance for success or am I destined to fail via corporate politics?
Also, should I inform my prospective employers about the scar and my G.E.D during the interview?
Will honesty “be on my side”?
