I just got a very nice new speaker system for my tv, with very good bass and everything
problem is, the only wall I can put it on is shared with my roommate’s bedroom. he has complained about the noise of it, which makes using it difficult
I was thinking what if I put thick fabric behind it, along the wall? I dont know much about acoustics, but would this solve the issue? would it reduce the sound quality?
It is in a niche, maybe only 4 ft tall and wide and a few feet deep. If I could just put something to cover the niche’s walls with, that would be best

So I’ve been in a relationship technically for 4 years. Two years with a real jerk starting at age 15, then another two years with a great guy starting at 17 and lasting until a few weeks ago at age 19. Most of our relationship was long distance (2hrs) because we go to different universities. So the only new “friend” I made at college was my roommate. We were both always gone on the weekends seeing our boyfriends and weren’t very social because we both didn’t need to be at the time. Bf’s were our life.
Well my most recent Ex thought it would be best to break up because I was the only girlfriend he had ever had and so I don’t really blame him. The sucky part is that we still care for each other and didn’t end on bad terms.
ANYWAYS, HERE IS THE QUESTION:
I feel like a new student at my University because I don’t know anyone, and it’s the end of the school year pretty much. I am a sophomore and will be a junior next fall. I have like one or two close friends from High school who I can confide in for now, but will it be hard to find a group of girlfriends to hang out with? I am getting anxious and nervous about my future now and if I will be a loner for the rest of my life. Did anyone transfer from a Comm. College to a University and feel the same way? I feel like everyone already has their niche that they built during freshman year in the dorms.

My Husband and I have been married almost two years now. Two days ago I came home from work and he was gone. He only took some clothes and our dog from the backyard. He didn’t leave a note and he hasn’t called me to even say why he left or if he’s coming back. I have no idea why he left other than the fact he didn’t like our current residence because of our roommate.(we rent a house) We almost never fight and if we do it’s fixed within the hour. I haven’t been apart from him other than when I was away in the military for a few weeks. I called his work place to see if he had been fired because i know that he would be to ashamed to tell me. When I called they said I was no longer affiliated with him and were not allowed to tell me where he is. I am completely devastated, I miss him so much haven’t slept or eaten since he left. Is he coming back? Is he ok? I don’t know what to do I’m am so lost. What do I do now?!
