Well, I’m 16 years old and I have been interested in the whole concept of buying and selling shares and how it works and the factors that affect its price.
I wanted to start learning young so, when I am actually old enough I have a really solid foundation.
Are there any books you recommend I read first and foremost.
For a first book I want one that explains everything in general I was looking at “Investing in Shares for Dummies by David Stevenson” just to start with.
Once I have the fundamental knowledge I would move on to something more hefty.
Also have you just got any genuine tips?

I have sold cars for 10 years and been in sales all my life and understand might make the phone ring and you can collect interested people’s contact details and call them back if it was reduced if it did t sell within a certain time
I’m my opinion the secret of selling is to “offer it” (that includes the price)
If I see £POA I automaticity assume the product is too dear or I cannot afford it. I personally would never use POA as I would expect people either Curious or have no idea about current market values of the product. Thus wasting both of our time
Has anyone had success or unsucess with POA??
or changed to the real price???
I am asking this question as my partner just called (21.37) a Horsebox advertisement (POA to Surprise surprise ask THE PRICE!). The seller said his wife would call back in 45 mins (as she was out) to discuss the elusive price
After putting the phone down my parter said “it’ll be too expensive” I asked Why did you even ring???
Surely POA causes more problems than it solves. Your thoughts?

Like USA uplifted the Europe by Marshall Plan post -WWII, it also hugely provided Japan with free capital. Of course , Japanese made proper use of that money adopting consumer based capitalism and selling to the world top class products. They toiled hard .
The technological secret is japan never invented anything worth mentioning in electronics and automobiles….they only borrowed designs ( for which the west often jeers at them) – but their concentration was on materials and they brought out fantastic materials for miniaturization and reliability . The world owes this to them. They used the material research for themselves and came to the top in consumer durable products. Of course, then SK, taiwan , hongkong etc. followed.
China and India has billions of mouths to feed. They cannot become industrialized countries , ie 50% labor must work on farms. India struggles for FDI and China struggles for western market.

This tv show was a British one. It was set during ww2. There were a group of evacuees staying with different people in the village. Some stayed with a kind old lady and others stayed with a posh couple. The children thought that the couple were either spying or selling on the black market (not sure which) . They spied on the couple and discovered secrets.
It was an educational show, I watched it when i was younger, but can’t remember the name. It could have something to do with ‘i spy’ or similar. Any ideas?
