Every time I see an ad on YA, it’s for a product that’s well-known to be a scam: penny stocks, acai berry, “miracle” muscle-growth supplements. For example, I see the “John Bell wants to share his secrets on hacking the stock market” ad every single day, yet a cursory search online will show it’s a complete scam and impossible to implement.
Is Yahoo not responsible for the ads on here? Are they being handled by some third party?

I met a man on an online dating service. We appeared to have everything in common, a real connection until I explained that i had a gross misdameanor 14 yrs ago. I only told him this because of the job he had (law enforcement) and I didnt know if that was something that could affect him. Even though he told me that he was glad I was honest with him he did indicate that he could not affiliate with anyone whom had a past like that. I was CRUSHED! So we let it go. 2weeks later he calls me and stated that he missed me wanted to know how I was and that he put in a 2 week notice to his current job and is now working on the back end of the job where the provisions of his associations were not so harsh. He asked if I could give him another chance and that he couldnt find anyone else that connected like we did and that he was wrong. And so I did, believing that people deserve second chances. He has the 905 credit score, the BMW, the house and career and I have lousy credit that i am trying to redeem from now, a condo, a car. The reason for mentioning this was because his friends indicated to him (he told me) why was he messing with someone like me when he can get a lawyer, doctor etc. It hurt my feelings needless to say but he was adament that he didnt care what they thought and wanted to just do this with me. We talked every single day since then, so we have been talking all together for 2 1/2 mths give or take. Well, long story short he applied (supposingly) for a job in my current state so we could be closer and according to him, it paid sooo much more and was ready for a change etc. He landed an interview. He was supposed to be here Tuesday last week. He never called going to the airport, layover or arrival. So, i called him and he answered whispering that he was in an interview already getting ready to met the CEO and VP that he loved me and he’ll call me right after the interview. Now, I was told the previous day the interview was at 1:30pm but when I called it was 11:30am, the flight was supposed to be at 10:30am arrival, and he told me they wanted to interview early. Strange I thought. And then he says that the interview was going to last 7 hrs especially if they liked him!! Huh? i let it go thinking well i’ll met him soon enough and everything will be great! NOT! He never called not even the consideration of a phone call, text ….nothing. Wednesday came and I saw him on facebook accepting friend request. I left it alone. Thursday he finally called didnt leave a message and then text me to call him ( this was the day he was supposed to leave). I took off 3 days of work to be with him. Why do I need to call him? I have never heard from him since and its been a week already. He never removed me from facebook either. SHould I call? It’s killing me to know what’s up. Oh by the way, the hotel that he supposingly applied and stayed at….he was never registered and there was never a job opening for it. What was the purpose of that? LIAR!
