I have a really close friend (but we’re not a couple) and I’ve been trying really hard not to hide my thoughts or emotions from her, and whenever we have an issue I try to calmly speak my side on it. I’m about to enter writing competition. It’s the third year I joined this. I know the chance I’m winning this competition is slim. But, that’s okay. I can handle that. Here’s the catch: the rules and regulations required the story to never be published and not to be entered for another competition. This is the part where I need your suggestion.
I think if my story doesn’t appeal to one type of group, I should be able to send it somewhere. At least after the result is out. But if I do that, I may breach R&R stated before. As an author, I believe there is a niche for my writing or maybe my luck is better elsewhere. But now, it’s do or die situation, what should I do?
